Vince Vaughn Confirms That A ‘Wedding Crashers’ Sequel Is In Development With Owen Wilson

In 2005, Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn teamed up for the raunchy comedy ‘Wedding Crashers‘ and it was a huge hit. It made nearly $300 million at the box office and is still loved to this day.

Now Vince Vaughn is teasing us with news of a potential sequel. The 50-year-old actor talked to Entertainment Tonight recently, and he suggested that a sequel is in development.

Owen and I and the director of Crashers have been talking for the first time seriously [about] a sequel to that movie. There has been an idea that is pretty good. So we are talking about that in the early stages.

They were fun movies to make. It’s always fun to make people laugh and go to work with people that are funny.

As he mentions though, they’re still in the early stages. It sounds like maybe they have a treatment right now, but not an actual script.

So it’ll be interesting to see if they actually continue with this, or if it kinda fades away, which does happen often with movies in Hollywood.

That being said, the studio will be interested in this because a lot of people love this movie and they would come out to watch a sequel.
