Back in 2014, a little thriller/action film titled ‘The Equalizer‘ made on a budget of around $70 million was released inside theaters across the nation. No one knew much about the movie, but they did know Denzel Washington was the star, and that was enough to get them excited.
The film surprised everyone by bringing in close to $200 million at the box office. Even though it received mixed reviews from critics, the audience (including me) absolutely loved it. I thought it was an incredibly entertaining movie, mainly because Washington was in the leading role. He can make any script work.
And I’m happy to report the sequel, ‘The Equalizer 2,‘ has finally released its first trailer. Both Washington and and director Antoine Fuqua have returned for this sequel, which features Washington’s character still being a complete badass.
