Queen Latifah And Robert Duvall Joining Adam Sandler’s Basketball Film ‘Hustle’

Adam Sandler is surrounding himself with a talented group of actors in the upcoming sports film, Hustle.

The basketball flick stars Sandler as a down on his luck basketball scout who discovers “a once-in-a-lifetime player with a rocky past abroad and takes it upon himself to bring the phenom to the States without his team’s approval.”

In addition to Sandler, we’re now hearing this film will co-star Queen Latifah, Robert Duvall, Ben Foster and NBA player Juancho Hernangomez.

Oscar nominee Will Fetters (A Star Is Born) co-wrote the script with Taylor Materne, so we’re assuming this film will have dramatic beats. Not your typical Happy Madison production.

No word on a potential release date, but we’re sure Sandler is itching to film. Sandler is a huge basketball fan, so any excuse to immerse himself in the game is a good one.

This film is part of Sandler’s overall deal with Netflix, so it will be released on the streaming giant once completed.
