Congratulations, J.J. Abrams and the rest of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens crew. Your movie is officially the highest-grossing film of all time in North America, if you don’t adjust for inflation.

After just 20 days of being released, Star Wars is the king. It took in a little over $6 million on Wednesday, which moved its domestic total to $764.4 million, easily clearing the previous record of $760.5 million by Avatar. Titanic and Jurassic World come in at number three and four.

In addition to breaking this impressive record, Star Wars also holds domestic records for biggest second weekend of all time, biggest Christmas Day total, biggest third weekend and biggest New Year’s Day. Basically, any record you want to create, The Force Awakens just smashed it.

What about its worldwide totals? Well, it’s already broken a few worldwide records as well, but it currently sits at number four on the worldwide box office list. It sits behind Jurassic World, Titanic and Avatar. Experts believe it will end with a worldwide total between $2.2 billion to $2.4 billion, which would put it safely in the number two position.

Check out the message released by StarWars.com below…

“We are proud of these records, but know that they would not be possible without fans’ enthusiasm and continued support. We feel it here and it drives us every day, and it will continue to in the very bright future of Star Wars. There has indeed been an awakening — and it’s all thanks to you.”
