Did you know Rob Zombie was in the original Guardians of the Galaxy? We’re willing to bet you didn’t. He was never on camera, but he was the voice of “Ravager Navigator” on Yondu’s spaceship.

And now we know Zombie will be returning for the sequel. He posted the photo you see above, with the caption, “With @jamesgunn at Disney recording a voice for Guardians of the Galaxy 2!”

It’s not clear if he’s returning to voice the same character, or if it’ll be a new character. We’re thinking it’s a new character, considering he said “a voice” in his caption on Instagram.

If this cameo seems odd to you…it’s not. Zombie has made a vocal cameo in several of Gunn’s films, including Super and Slither.

Don’t believe us? Gunn recently talked about how all his films must include a voice cameo from Zombie…

“There are two things you can be sure of in my films: 1) There will be a character named Fitzgibbon. And 2) There will be a Rob Zombie voice cameo. Yesterday Rob came by to lend his voice to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Now it’ll be up to you guys to find it.”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will hit theaters May 5, 2017.
