You all know Timothee Chalamet is one of the hottest actors in Hollywood. Some people believe he’s the next Leonardo DiCaprio. It’s too early to tell if that prediction will come true, but one thing is for sure, the dude is talented.
Chalamet is taking his talents to Netflix this year for the period drama, The King.
In the film, Chalamet stars as Henry V.
Chalamet’s Henry V begins the story as a wayward prince but is thrust into political power after his father’s death. The film centers around the newly-crowned Henry as he navigates the tension and political turmoil that comes with inheriting the throne.
In addition to Chalamet, this movie also stars Joel Edgerton (who also co-wrote the script), Robert Pattinson, and Ben Mendelsohn.
The King will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in just a few days. It’ll then have a limited release on October 11, followed by being available on Netflix, November 1, 2019.
