One of our most anticipated films this year is Adam McKay’s comedy film, Don’t Look Up, which features an impressive ensemble cast.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Jonah Hill, Timothee Chalamet, Meryl Streep and even Kid Cudi make appearances in the film, which follows two scientists trying to alert the world about a dangerous comet coming toward Earth.
The only problem? No one seems to care, especially the President of the United States, played by Meryl Streep. It’s been said that this movie is a humorous take on the climate crisis impacting us all.
Jennifer Lawrence recently revealed she always wanted to work with McKay, and after reading the script, she knew she wanted to be involved.
When I read the script, I thought it was genius. It’s maybe the funniest script I’ve ever read, and I thought it was such a poignant way to get such an important point across, that people don’t need to be fighting each other over science. We need to be fighting this collective war to save humanity together.
