From first blood to last blood, Sylvester Stallone has been through it all.
‘First Blood’ was released way back in 1982. Stallone starred in the film as Vietnam veteran John J. Rambo. The action-thriller made over $120 million at the box office.
The second film in the franchise was released in 1985, followed by a third film in 1988 and a fourth in 2008. The second film was by far the most successful, at least in terms of box office success.
Now Stallone is returning to the role of Rambo one more time in Last Blood.
Almost four decades after he drew first blood, Sylvester Stallone is back as one of the greatest action heroes of all time, John Rambo. Now, Rambo must confront his past and unearth his ruthless combat skills to exact revenge in a final mission. A deadly journey of vengeance, RAMBO: LAST BLOOD marks the last chapter of the legendary series.
Last Blood will hit theaters September 20, 2019. In addition to Stallone, the movie will co-star Paz Vega, Adrianna Barraza and Yvette Monreal.
