Mark Ruffalo is a solid actor. He might not be at the top of your “favorites” list, but you can always count on him to give a good (if not great) performance.
And we expect more of the same from his upcoming thriller, Dark Waters. Focus Features released the first trailer this week. The movie is based on a true story of “an attorney (Mark Ruffalo) for DuPont Chemical who discovered that his company was poisoning the residents of a small town for about forty years.”
What’s interesting is that this movie is getting an awards season release date, but it hasn’t premiered at any festival.
What does that mean? I have no idea. It could mean nothing at all, or it could mean they aren’t confident enough in it.
In any event, Dark Waters is scheduled to hit theaters November 22, 2019.
