Chris Morris has finally returned to the land of features. Morris’ last film was the dark comedy ‘Four Lions‘ back in 2010. The film received positive reviews from critics and developed a loyal following online.
He’s hoping to have similar success with his latest feature, The Day Shall Come.
He wrote/directed this comedy-thriller, which stars Marchánt Davis as an impoverished preacher “looking to bring hope and justice to the Miami projects. He and his small group are battling racial inequality and crime, and soon end up pinging the FBI’s radar.”
Anna Kendrick plays the lead FBI agent in the movie. In addition to Davis and Kendrick, this movie also stars Jim Gaffigan and Denis O’Hare.
The Day Shall Come will hit theaters on September 27, 2019. Check out the trailer below…[mashshare]
