You might know Kaya Scodelario from her work on ‘Skins‘ or the more recent ‘Maze Runner‘ film series, but you’ll soon know her for Crawl.
The horror movie stars Kaya and Barry Pepper as a daughter-father duo trapped in a hurricane with killer alligators surrounding them. It looks like they’re first trapped in the crawl space of their home as the water around them slowly rises.
Alexandre Aja, the director behind this film, has experience in this genre. He directed Piranha 3D and The Hills Have Eyes.
Crawl will reportedly hit theaters July 12, 2019. It was made on a budget of just $17 million, so it doesn’t need to be a HUGE hit at the box office to be considered a success.
