The name Luca Guadagnino might be familiar to you. He is the director behind the lovely 2017 film Call Me By Your Name.
And now he’s back, but with a completely different project. The director is putting his career on the line by remaking the 1977 Italian cult classic horror flick, Suspiria.
It’s a huge risk remaking such a classic movie, but if anyone can do it, it’s probably Luca.
“Guadagnino’s Suspiria follows a young dancer (Dakota Johnson) who uncovers something sinister within her prestigious dance company. The horror movie reunites Guadagnino with Johnson, Tilda Swinton, and A Bigger Splash screenwriter David Kajganich.”
It’s scheduled to hit theaters November 2, 2018, and you will not want to miss it. It features a cast full of talented women like Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton and Chloe Moretz.
