Watch The First Full Trailer For Elton John Biopic ‘Rocketman’

Hollywood is taking a brief break from the remakes this year to focus on biopics of famous musicians and bands. The Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, was released back in November and made over $800 million at the box office.

Earlier this week, we showed you the first trailer for the upcoming Motley Crue biopic ‘The Dirt,’ and now today we have the first full trailer for the Elton John biopic, Rocketman.

“The inspirational film follows the transformation from shy piano prodigy Reginald Dwight into international music superstar Elton John in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The movie directed by Dexter Fletcher also stars Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot) as Elton’s longtime lyricist and writing partner Bernie Taupin, Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) as Elton’s first manager, and Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World) as Elton’s mother.”

Taron Egerton stars as Elton in the movie, and he apparently did his own singing in the film, which should be fun to watch and compare.

Rocketman is set to hit theaters May 31, 2019. Check out the trailer below…
