Dakota Johnson is moving on from her role as Anastasia Steel. She’s finally breaking free from the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise and is now starring in a horror film titled Suspiria.
If that name sounds familiar to you, it’s because the movie is a remake of the 1977 Italian horror film directed by Dario Argento.
This remake is being directed by the talented filmmaker behind ‘Call Me By Your Name,’ Luca Guadagnino. In addition to Johnson, the horror flick also stars Tilda Swinton, Mia Goth and Chloe Grace Moretz.
“Johnson plays Susie Bannon, a ballet student who joins a prestigious dance company in Germany. But after a series of deaths and mysterious events, Johnson’s character learns the academy and its staff aren’t exactly as they seem.”
The movie is scheduled to be released inside select theaters October 26 before being released nationwide on November 2.
