Kids these days might not know a lot about the Looney Tunes universe, but thanks to the recent rise of reboots and sequels, they’re about to be introduced.
Warner Bros. has been trying to develop a Wile E. Coyote flick ‘Coyote vs. Acme‘ for a while now, and they have finally settled on a director.
Dave Green will help develop the live action-animation hybrid, which is currently seeking a writer. The animated feature follows the infamous Looney Tunes prairie woof whose objective is obliterating his nemesis Road Runner.
Acme is the fictional company that provides Coyote with his many weapons, all of which invariably fail, leaving him squashed flat or burnt to a crisp.
As mentioned above, they are still trying to find a writer for this project. Green’s most recent directing job came back in 2016 when he took on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
A release date has not been announced, but we will keep you posted as more information becomes available.[mashshare]
