Horror fans online have been going back and forth on ‘The Invisible Man’ film, which is a contemporary adaptation of the novel of the same name by H.G. Wells.

Many fans believe the trailer gives away the entire film and before the first reviews came out, people were already clowning on this project.

But now people are changing their tune because of the positive response from critics. The movie has a solid 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has slowly built some hype over the past week or two.

Thanks to this recent boost, experts believe the film will take home over $20 million during its opening weekend. Some say it could make over $30 million, thanks to good word-of-mouth.

If it does bring in close to $30 million this weekend, that would be a great start, considering it was made on just $7 million.

The horror-thriller stars Elisabeth Moss as a woman on the run from her abusive husband, who may or may not be deceased.
