If you’re anything like me, you’re still giggling at the back-to-back asses in the title. But you’re probably (hopefully) nothing like me. You haven’t giggled while saying ‘Uranus’ since 1995. That’s cool. I can respect that.
What the heck am I even talking about right now? This post is about the first trailer for Assassin’s Creed, so let’s try to focus on that. The trailer debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night, giving fans their first look at Michael Fassbender playing the dual role of Callum Lynch/Aguilar.
Video game movies are notorious for being terrible, but it looks like fans of the franchise are pleased with this first trailer. The only thing they seem to hate is Kanye West’s music playing in the background. The Kanye hate just won’t die.
The film was directed by Justin Kurzel. In addition to Fassbender’s lead role, you’ll also find Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons and Brendan Gleeson.
Assassin’s Creed hits theaters Dec. 21, 2016.
