The first trailer for ‘Judas and the Black Messiah‘ dropped this week, and many people are saying it’s the best trailer of the year.
And those people are probably right. The film tells the story of Fred Hampton, chairman of the Black Panther Party, and “and how he was betrayed by William O’Neal, a petty criminal forced by the FBI to infiltrate the Panthers and sow discord within Hampton’s movement.”
‘Get Out‘ star Daniel Kaluuya plays Hampton and LaKeith Stanfield plays O’Neal. Shaka King is making his feature directorial debut.
There’s no exact release date for this film, but the studio is promising a theatrical release sometime in 2021, so we’ll keep you posted.
