Production on ‘The Batman‘ just started back up a week or two ago, and now they’re already being forced to take another pause.

A spokesperson for Warner Bros. revealed a crew member tested positive for COVID-19…

A member of ‘The Batman’ production has tested positive for Covid-19 and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.

No word on how long that pause will be. It’ll likely be at least a week or two though. I’m sure they want to make sure no other crew members have it before returning to set. The incubation period is up to two weeks.

Hopefully this is just an isolated incident and production can resume. One has to wonder how the crew member got the virus. You’d think everyone on set would be under strict guidelines. I mean, I doubt they can just go out on the town after work.

According to insiders, the movie still has around three months of material to shoot, and the plan is to be finished by the end of the year.

It’s currently scheduled to be released on October 1, 2021.
