Tom Holland is best known for his portrayal as Spider-Man. His Spider-Man is arguably one of the better ones in recent history. The audience certainly likes it, with the latest film bringing in over $1 billion at the box office.
But for his next project, Holland is going more dramatic and indie. The 23-year-old actor is starring in ‘Cherry‘ as an Iraq war veteran suffering from PTSD and a crippling opioid addiction.
In order to fund his drug habit, he starts robbing banks. The film is based on Nico Walker’s semi-autobiographical novel of the same name.
Joe and Anthony Russo are the directors behind this film. Ciara Bravo, Bill Skarsgard and Jack Reynor will co-star alongside Holland.
