Look At Christian Bale’s Transformation As He Slowly Becomes Dick Cheney (PHOTOS)

We told you last week that Sam Rockwell was joining Adam McKay’s Dick Cheney biopic. Rockwell was the last piece to the puzzle. He will be playing George W. Bush in the movie, which is expected to begin filming this fall.

Christian Bale has the starring role as the former vice president Dick Cheney, and it’s clear he’s committed to this role. He was at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado this past weekend, and as you can see in the photos, he has gained some weight for this role. He also dyed his dark eyebrows blonde to look more like Cheney.

Honestly, this transformation might seem dramatic, but it’s probably been a smooth ride for Bale. He’s no stranger to insane transformations. For the 2004 film The Machinist, Bale lost about 70 pounds. He weighed just 121 pounds, which is kinda frightening ’cause he stands at 6’2″

He then gained it all back and added 30 more pounds for Batman Begins one year later. So yeah, gaining a few pounds and making his eyebrows blonde is probably a walk in the freaking park for Bale.

As we mentioned in the previous post, this biopic does not have an official release date, but we will keep you posted.

Michael B. Jordan Reveals How Many Pounds Of Muscle He Had To Gain For His Role In ‘Creed’

Just two weeks ago we saw the first trailer for the Rocky spin-off, Creed. And surprisingly, it looks like it’s going to be a fantastic movie. We told you in the trailer post that the star of the film, Michael B. Jordan, worked his butt off for this role.

In October of last year, he told The Daily Beast that he was working out constantly with Sylvester Stallone and trying to put on weight. “We’re putting the time in now to get it right.” He said during the interview.

And if you have seen the trailer, then you know Jordan was obviously successful with his weight gain. But just how much muscle did he put on? And how exactly did he do it? Well, E! News spoke to Michael B. Jordan and his Fantastic Four co-star Kate Mara at Comic-Con.

“How good does his back look in that trailer?” Mara asked during the interview, obviously wanting to make her co-star a little uncomfortable. “I got in shape. It’s pretty cool.” Michael replied. He also revealed that he gained 24 pounds of muscle for his role as Apollo Creed’s son.

How did he do it? Diet and exercise, of course. “Honestly, diet has a lot to do with it and lots of water.” He said before Mara added, “He was so annoying during our movie—every 30 minutes he was eating something.”

According to Jordan, he ate a lot of chicken, rice and broccoli. “Literally in the middle of takes, I would just be eating food.” I always find it strange when these stars talk about gaining muscle for a role, and they always talk about how they ate nothing but chicken and broccoli. You know they were throwing in some junk food. I mean, do you know how much chicken and broccoli he would have to be eating to gain that much muscle? He certainly wasn’t getting enough calories from chicken and broccoli.

Anyway, you can check out Michael B. Jordan in Fantastic Four next month. Creed won’t hit theaters until November 25, 2015.

Jonah Hill Looks A Little Different In First Photos From The ‘Arms and the Dudes’ Set

If you have been following Jonah Hill’s career, then you know he has changed completely since hitting Hollywood. He has shown directors that he’s more than just that “funny fat guy.”

He is more than this…

And the 31-year-old actor also made some big changes in his personal life. He lost a lot of weight a few years ago. He looked like a new man.

But now it looks like Jonah Hill has gained all that weight back. The actor was spotted out in California on Wednesday filming his new movie with Miles Teller, Arms and the Dudes. The film, based on a true story, tells the story of two friends in their early 20s (Teller and Hill) who score a huge contract from the Pentagon to become weapon suppliers for the Afghan Military.

It’s reportedly based on Guy Lawson’s 2011 Rolling Stone article titled, “The Stoner Arms Dealers: How Two American Kids Became Big-Time Weapon Traders.”

Of course, everyone is wondering if Jonah was forced to gain weight for his role in the film, but sadly, no one seems to know the answer. Some people even claim he could be wearing a fat suit.

Either way, I am sure we will find out the answer soon enough. As for the movie, it’s expected to be released by Warner Bros. in 2016.
