Keanu Reeves And Jim Carrey Joining Cannibal Love Story ‘The Bad Batch’

We are not sure if anybody saw this coming. Two huge stars just joined the cast of Ana Lily Amirpour’s cannibal love story, The Bad Batch. We knew the unique film had already added Jason Momoa last month, and we figured he would be leading the cast, wrongly assuming he would be surrounded with several newcomers.

But thanks to a report from TheWrap, we have learned that Jim Carrey, Keanu Reeves and Suki Waterhouse will be joining the film. Those are some huge names, and it’s honestly made us more excited about this movie. It’s a post-apocalyptic story set in a Texas wasteland where a group of cannibals reside. And yes, The Bad Batch has been described as a love story between cannibal Miami Man (Momoa) and his food.

Waterhouse will be playing the female lead Arlen, Reeves will be playing The Dream and Carrey landed a character named The Hermit.

We don’t know any details surrounding their characters, but hopefully Carrey is able to display the wonderful acting skills we saw in Man on the Moon, The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

As of right now, no more information has been released. We don’t know when filming will begin, we don’t even know if this movie will make it inside theaters; however, we will do our best to keep you updated. It certainly sounds like an interesting project.
