John Mulaney And Pete Davidson Talk About ‘The Mule’ With Clint Eastwood (VIDEO)

Clint Eastwood’s latest film, ‘The Mule‘ was released inside theaters a few weeks back and it’s quietly made over $100 million at the box office. It’s been weirdly successful. It’s almost as if everyone has watched it, but no one wants to talk about it.

And maybe that’s because Eastwood has two threesomes in the movie. That’s right, 88-year-old Clint Eastwood, who plays a 90-year-old drug courier in the movie, has two threesomes! I mean, one of the threesomes is simply implied, but the damage has already been done by that point.

The first people willing to talk about the movie were John Mulaney and Pete Davidson. During the ‘Weekend Update’ bit on SNL, Mulaney and Davidson talked about their screening of The Mule.

“This was a superhero movie for old people about a guy whose superpower is that he can drive unsupervised. Fulfilling another elderly grandpa fantasy: that a 90-year-old white man can do any job better than a Mexican, even when the job is Mexican drug trafficking.”

Watch their hilarious recap of the film below. It’s pretty funny, even if you haven’t watched the movie…

SNL Does Hilarious Parody Of Independent Short Films Shown At Festivals, Watch The Clip Inside!

We make fun of big Hollywood sequels all the time on this site, and we will continue to do that. But we also like to keep things fair.

Independent filmmakers can jump the shark as well. Plot matters. You can’t just film two dumpsters talking about The Smiths for 10 minutes and call it art.

Saturday Night Live created a pretty hilarious parody of the independent short film with a little help from their guest host, Emily Blunt.

You got the black and white shots, French subtitles, obscure ending…it’s all there, folks. Check it out below. SNL is on fire this year.

Celebrate Hump Day With Some Laughs, Watch Tina Fey And Amy Poehler In Hilarious ‘Sisters’ Trailer!

With all the huge movies coming out this year, it’s easy to forget about the little comedy starring two of the funniest humans in the world, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.

In Sisters, we see Amy and Tina play two estranged sisters who learn their parents (James Brolin, Dianne Wiest) have sold their beloved childhood home. And how do they handle this shocking information? By throwing one more crazy party inside the home before it’s gone for good.

Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect) is the director behind the movie, which was written by the talented Paula Pell (Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock). And if you’re a fan of Saturday Night Live, you will be seeing a lot of familiar faces in this movie.

Kate McKinnon, Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch and Bobby Moynihan will all make special appearances. WWE superstar John Cena also has a role in the film.

Sadly, this movie is scheduled to be released December 18. That’s the same day Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens, which means there is no way Sisters will be taking home the top spot at the box office.

Production Begins On The “Top Secret” Lonely Island Movie, Details Inside!

Are you a fan of SNL? What about the lovely musical group, The Lonely Island? If so, we have some pretty exciting news for you. Judd Apatow just announced on his Twitter account that production on the first film made by the trio has officially started.

The producer shared the news on his Twitter account, revealing the “Top Secret” movie poster you see below..

The Lonely Island group consists of Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer. They actually formed the group back in 2000 in California. Five years later, they were hired by Saturday Night Live, and were able to produce hits like “Jizz in My Pants” and “I’m on a Boat“.

So, what the heck is this movie going to be about? We’re not exactly sure. We know the film is being co-directed by Schaffer and Taccone, and we know Sarah Silverman has joined the project. She will be playing a “sharp and sarcastic” publicist who works with the character being played by Samberg.

“Not to be hyperbolic, but we are seriously zazzed about this movie.” The band said in a statement. Apatow released his own statement, revealing how excited he is…

“I have begged these fine gentlemen to allow me to produce one of their films since day one, and finally they decided my whining needed to come to an end.”

Universal will be distributing the untitled film. No release date has been announced, but we’re assuming the movie will hit theaters in 2016.
