Watch Carey Mulligan And Zoe Kazan Take Down Harvey Weinstein In First Trailer For ‘She Said’

Universal has hit us with the first trailer for the upcoming drama film, She Said, a dramatic adaptation of the book by Megan Twohey and Jodie Kantor.

The two journalists helped spark the #MeToo movement with their New York Times exposé on Harvey Weinstein, the disgraced Hollywood film producer accused of sexual harassment and abuse.

Two-time Academy Award nominee Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan star as New York Times reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, who together broke one of the most important stories in a generation— a story that helped propel the #MeToo movement, shattered decades of silence around the subject of sexual assault in Hollywood and altered American culture forever.

She Said was directed by Maria Schrader and written by Rebecca Lenkiewicz. In addition to Mulligan and Kazan, the cast includes Adam Shapiro, Patricia Clarkson, Andre Braugher and Samantha Morton.

The movie is set to be released inside a theater near you on November 18, which seems to indicate that Universal believes it could be an awards contender.
