Alec Baldwin Returning To Film Set For The First Time Since Tragic ‘Rust’ Shooting

Just five months after the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of ‘Rust’, Alec Baldwin is preparing to make his comeback in a pair of Italian Christmas movies.

According to a report from Deadline, Alec and his brother William are flying to Italy to shoot Kid Santa and Billie’s Magic World, two live-action and animation hybrid comedy films from filmmaker Francesco Cinquemani.

Alec and Francesco previously worked together on the 2015 sci-fi movie, Andron, which also starred Danny Glover.

Filming has now begun in Italian capital Rome on the two projects. The news was first reported by Italian news org ANSA.

I honestly thought it’d be at least a year until Alec was able to return to a set, but hey, people heal in different ways. You can’t really make a judgement there.

As most of you know, in late October, Hutchins was shot and killed by a live bullet in a prop gun, which was discharged by Baldwin. The bullet also hit the film’s director, but he suffered only minor injuries.

The family of Hutchins is currently suing Baldwin and several other people involved in the production of the film.

George Clooney Talks About That Tom Cruise Coronavirus-Inspired Freakout

The internet has been debating the leaked audio of Tom Cruise yelling at crew members on the set of Mission: Impossible 7. If you missed the story/audio, you can click on this link to check it out.

Basically, someone broke COVID-19 protocol on set, and Cruise freaked out and yelled at them in front of everyone.

The internet was split on this. Did Tom overreact? Or was his rant justified? Well, Howard Stern asked George Clooney for his opinion, and he also seemed kinda split.

He made it clear that he understands why he did it, but he questions whether he did it in the best way.

He didn’t overreact because it is a problem. I wouldn’t have done it that big, I wouldn’t have pulled people out. You’re in a position of power. It’s tricky, you do have a responsibility for everyone and he’s absolutely right about that.If the production goes down a lot of people lose their jobs. People have to understand that and be responsible. It’s just not my style to take everybody to task that way.

But Clooney makes it clear everyone has their town style, and at the end of the day, the people who were on the shoot will have to be the judge.

The people who were on that shoot will tell us more about it. I understand why he did it, he’s not wrong at all, I just don’t know if I would have done it quite that personally. But I don’t know the circumstances, maybe he had it 10 or 15 times before.

And last we heard, five crew members from the set quit not long after Cruise’s freakout, so perhaps that’s them telling us.

Check Out The First Official Image Of Will Smith As Genie In Upcoming Live-Action Remake Of ‘Aladdin’

The upcoming live-action remake of ‘Aladdin‘ will hit theaters May 24, 2019, and a full trailer for the movie should drop soon, but before then, we’re being treated to a few official photos from set.

In the photos below, you can see Will Smith as Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin and Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine.

Several fans have pointed out that Smith’s Genie is not blue in these photos, and they’re not happy about it.

Not sure why Genie’s color would matter that much, but you folks should know that Genie will in fact be blue in the movie. This coming straight from Will Smith’s Instagram account.

As mentioned above, this Aladdin remake will hit theaters in May. These photos look super corny, but obviously you can’t judge a movie by a few staged photos from set. We’ll wait until we see the trailer to make a real judgement.

Tragic Accident: Emmy Winner Dies On The Set Of Mr. Rogers Movie After Falling Off Balcony

We have some terribly sad news to report today. A crew member named James Emswiller died on the set of the upcoming Mr. Rogers movie.

The incident happened Thursday night during filming in Lebanon, PA. James was reportedly taking a smoke break on a second-story balcony.

While he was up there, he suffered a heart attack and fell off the balcony. A nurse on set tried to help him, but sadly he was already in full cardiac arrest. He was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.

According to the report, he was alone on the balcony when he fell. Tom Hanks, who is starring in the movie, was reportedly on set when this happened.

Emswiller was a talented guy. He won an Emmy for Outstanding Sound Mixing back in 2015. He was 61-years-old.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. Hopefully they can find some peace.

Check Out Video From The Set Of Quentin Tarantino’s Upcoming Film ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’

Want to know how much work goes into creating a film? Well, check out the video above.

This is from the set of Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film, ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,’ and as you can see, they completely transformed a block or two in Hollywood.

The movie is set in the summer of 1969, and it certainly looks like 1969 in the clip above. I mean, the classic cars, the advertisements on the bus, the storefronts, the people walking around in their vintage clothing…it’s pretty insane the amount of research and work they put in.

And in case you’re wondering how big the budget is for this movie, well, it’s reportedly $100 million, and it looks like they’re going to use every penny of that.

This film is scheduled to be released July 26, 2019, so basically in one short year.

We can’t wait.

Jeremy Renner Broke Both Arms While Filming ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Ouch. Who says acting isn’t dangerous? Jeremy Renner spoke at a press conference the other day to promote Taylor Sheridan’sWind River‘ film, and during the press conference, someone had to ask about his obvious injuries.

He revealed that he fractured his right elbow and his left wrist while filming a stunt for ‘Avengers: Infinity War,” and surprisingly he didn’t seem that concerned about it.

Renner said “That’s how it goes. It’s part of the job,” which is a pretty impressive attitude to have. He’s currently filming a New Line comedy titled ‘Tag,‘ and he’s trying his best not to let his injuries get in the way.

“I’m sort of a problem solver, you know. There will be an effect to it, but it won’t stop me from doing things that I need to be doing. I’ll heal fast. I’m doing everything I can to heal faster. I’m doing a job [“Tag”] that isn’t really requiring a ton of stunts. It’s not an action movie; it’s a comedy. It just happens to have a few stunts in it. So I don’t have to beat a whole lot of people up or do anything crazy. “

Damn. Good for him then. If I broke both my arms, I would not be working. I’d be in bed, watching reruns of The Office while a nurse feeds me ice cream.

By the way, Avengers: Infinity War is currently in production at Pinewood Atlanta Studios. It will hit theaters May 4, 2018.

Margot Robbie Has Completely Transformed For Her Role As Tonya Harding In Upcoming Film ‘I, Tonya’ (PHOTOS)

It’s always interesting to see how far actors will go to ~become one~ with the character they’re playing. We have seen actors drop a shocking amount of weight, and we’ve also seen them gain a shocking amount of weight.

Margot Robbie didn’t have to transform her body too much for her role as the disgraced figure skater Tonya Harding, but thanks to her hair and makeup team, she does look completely different.

The 26-year-old actress was photographed on the set of ‘I, Tonya’ in Australia on Monday. It’s our first look at the actress as Tonya, and we must say, we’re impressed by how she nailed the look.

Robbie wouldn’t have been our first choice to play Harding, but it looks like it’s going to work…

As described by Us Weekly, this biopic will bring “back to life Harding’s 1994 attack of rival skater Nancy Kerrigan. In one of the biggest and most notorious sports scandals in American history, Harding’s ex-husband, Jeff Gillooly, and bodyguard hired a hitman to injure Kerrigan seven weeks before the 1994 Winter Olympics.”

In addition to Robbie, Allison Janney, Sebastian Stan and Paul Walter Hauser will also star. No official release date has been announced, but it could be released as early as December 2017. However, it’s more likely to have a 2018 release date.

We’ll keep you posted.
