It’s not a secret anymore. Jesse Williams is joining the cast of Paramount’s upcoming high-concept family action film, Secret Headquarters.
According to the report from Deadline, Williams (Grey’s Anatomy) will be playing a villain in the movie, which includes a cast of Owen Wilson, Michael Pena, Walker Scobell and Momona Tamada.
The movie is being described as “Home Alone set in the Batcave,” which, uh…I’m intrigued. I mean, I’m skeptical as well, perhaps even more skeptical than intrigued, but still, intrigued.
Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman will direct and wrote the current draft along with Josh Koenigsberg. The story is an original idea from Christopher Yost.
Secret Headquarters is expected to be released inside theaters August 12, 2022, so they’re hoping it’ll be a family-friendly summer blockbuster.
As for where you’ll be able to find Williams before August of next year? Well, probably his social media accounts. You ever think of that?
But for real, he’s also set to star in a film called Marked Man with DeWanda Wise. Not sure if that’ll be released before Secret Headquarters, but you can check out a description for Marked Man below…
Follows a young black man who joins J. Edgar Hoover’s Federal Bureau of Investigation and then infiltrates Garvey’s UNIA organization, testing his loyalty to both race and country as he grows weary of both men’s actions.
