The First Image Of Ryan Gosling As Ken In Upcoming ‘Barbie’ Movie Has Been Released

If you somehow missed the news, Ryan Gosling is starring in Greta Gerwig’s take on the ‘Barbie‘ toy franchise. He will be playing Ken, obviously.

And the studio was nice enough to release the first look of him as the iconic doll. Warner Bros released the photo on their Twitter account…

He certainly looks Kenish. Gosling is universally liked by women, and while a lot of that comes from his body/face, he also has a charming personality. We’re not sure how much of that will be on display as Ken. I’ve always thought of Ken as super dull, so it’ll be interesting to see Greta’s take.

Gerwig co-wrote the ‘Barbie’ script with her partner and ‘Frances Ha’ collaborator Noah Baumbach. Production on the film is currently underway.

Margot Robbie stars as the titular character in the film. In addition to Gosling and Robbie, the movie will star Will Ferrell, Michael Cera, Emma Mackey, America Ferrera and Simu Liu.

‘Barbie’ will hit theaters July 21, 2023.

Watch Ryan Gosling And Chris Evans In The First Trailer For Action-Thriller ‘The Gray Man’

It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Ryan Gosling in a huge blockbuster, but thankfully that’s about to change.

The 41-year-old actor is set to co-star alongside Chris Evans in the upcoming Netflix action-thriller, The Gray Man. It’s the streaming giant’s biggest-budget film ever, costing a ridiculous $200 million to make.

The movie stars Gosling as Court Gentry, aka the Gray Man, a freelance assassin and former CIA operative who is hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former cohort at the CIA. Court happens to have some dark secrets about the agency that are not supposed to see the light of day.

The project is actually based on Mark Greaney’s 10-book series, so it’s not a completely original piece of work from the Russo Bros. They co-directed and co-wrote the screenplay alongside Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

In addition to Gosling and Evans, this movie stars Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Billy Bob Thornton and Julia Butters.

The Gray Man will hit theaters on July 15, and then streaming will begin just one week later on Netflix.

Margot Robbie’s ‘Barbie’ Movie Adds More Stars To The Cast

This Warner Bros’ ‘Barbie‘ film has one impressive cast. We’ve already told you that Margot Robbie will star in the titular role, but have you heard who will be joining her?

It’s being reported that Ryan Gosling, America Ferrara, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, Emerald Fennell and Alexandra Shipp will join Margot in the film, which is being directed by ‘Lady Bird’ filmmaker Greta Gerwig.

She also co-wrote the script with her long-time boo Noah Baumbach. Unfortunately, plot details are being held secret, so we don’t know much about this flick.

But with Gerwig serving as director, you can bet it won’t be your typical ‘Barbie’ story. According to insiders, filming started recently in London, and the movie is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2023.

Back in August of 2021, Robbie talked about taking on the huge role…

It comes with a lot of baggage … and a lot of nostalgic connections. But with that come[s] a lot of exciting ways to attack it. People generally hear ‘Barbie’ and think, ‘I know what that movie is going to be,’ and then they hear that Greta Gerwig is writing and directing it, and they’re like, ‘Oh, well, maybe I don’t…’

Yeah, no one knows the direction Gerwig is taking this, but we’re super excited to find out, especially with an incredible a-list cast in place.

The Russo Brothers’ Latest Project ‘The Gray Man’ Just Added Even More Talent

Geez. The Russo brothers are putting together an extremely impressive cast for their upcoming feature, The Gray Man.

We already told you that the movie was set to star Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Ana De Armas.

Now we have just learned that Billy Bob Thornton and Bridgeton breakout star Regé-Jean Page have joined as well.

According to the recent report, they are the final additions.

The Russos have been developing the project for some time at Sony, and when the package went back on the market over the summer, Netflix was quick to acquire it and set Gosling and Evans to star.

The action thriller will follow Gentry (Gosling) as he’s hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former cohort at the CIA. The film is based on the first installment of the novel series by Mark Greaney.

Production is expected to begin in Los Angeles in just two weeks, and it has a pretty huge budget. Some insiders say the Russo brothers are working with a budget of around $200 million.

No word on when this film is expected to be released, but with filming happening in just two weeks, it’s possible it could be released late this year, but more likely sometime in 2022.

Ryan Gosling Set To Star In Upcoming Thriller ‘The Actor’ With Duke Johnson Directing

We all love Ryan Gosling, right? Can we all agree on that? I hope so. If we can’t agree on that, what can we agree on?

Unfortunately for us Gosling fans, he’s super picky about his roles, so we don’t see him starring in a handful of movies every year like some other actors.

He’s selective, so we must treasure everything he’s in, and it looks like his next project will be a thriller titled, The Actor.

Duke Johnson is set to direct from a script he wrote with Stephen Cooney. The film is reportedly based on Donald E. Westlake’s novel, Memory.

Gosling will play New York actor Paul Cole, who is beaten and left for dead in 1950s Ohio. Stripped of his memory and stranded in a mysterious small town, Paul struggles to get back home, piece together and reclaim the life and identity he’s lost. The Actor follows a journey relatable to many: to find home, to find love, and ultimately to find ourselves.

Sounds interesting enough to me. If it’s good enough for Ryan Gosling, it’s good enough for me. That’s the motto I live by.

Beyond this project, Gosling is about to start filming a huge action drama titled The Gray Man with Chris Evans. The film’s budget is reportedly around $200 million, so yeah, that’s a pretty big deal. Gosling has mostly stayed away from big budget films in his career, so this will be an interesting experiment.

Don’t know the release date for either film at this time, but we’ll keep you posted.

Ana De Armas Set To Join Ryan Gosling And Chris Evans In Russo Brothers’ Netflix Action-Thriller

The Russo Brothers are teaming up with Netflix for a big budget action-thriller titled ‘The Gray Man‘ and they’re setting up a nice cast to help them.

It was already revealed that Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans would star in the film, but now we are learning Ana De Armas will be joining them.

This project has been in development for a while. The brothers first tried to set it up with Sony, but it went back on the market this summer, and that’s when Netflix picked it up. It will reportedly be the biggest budget film in the streaming service’s history.

The Gray Man is the debut novel by Mark Greaney, first published in 2009 by Jove Books. It is also the first novel to feature the Gray Man, freelance assassin and former CIA operative Court Gentry. The action thriller will follow Gentry (Gosling) as he’s hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former cohort of Gentry’s at the CIA. The film is based on the first installment of the best-selling The Gray Man book series.

So the hope here is that it’s a success and a new franchise is created. It’s a risk Netflix can afford to take because they’re swimming in cash right now.

No word on when filming may begin, but it’ll likely be sometime in 2021, depending on everyone’s schedule.

We’ll keep you posted.

Ryan Gosling Will Play The Wolfman For Universal, Studio Searches For Director

In the past, Ryan Gosling has avoided joining the big blockbuster franchises. We’re sure he’s had multiple offers to star in superhero films, but for the most part, he’s remained in the indie space.

But that’s about to change. Universal has successfully relaunched its monster universe, and now Gosling wants to join. He pitched a new take on the Wolfman, and apparently the studio really liked it.

A script was developed by Lauren Schuker Blum and Rebecca Angelo, and now the studio is in search for a director.

Sources tell Variety that executives at Universal have been meeting with directors over the past month and could be making a decision soon on who will take the reins behind the camera. While there is no frontrunner at the time, Cory Finley, who recently received rave reviews for directing HBO’s drama ‘Bad Education’ with Hugh Jackman and Allison Janney, is said to be in the mix for the job.

The details surrounding this new “take” are being held close to the studio, but we do know it’s being described as a “present-day story along the lines of Nightcrawler, with a wolfy twist.”

Sounds good to me. I loved Nightcrawler. I love Ryan Gosling.

Sign me up! I AM A WOLF-FAN!

Check Out The Official Trailer For ‘First Man’ Starring Ryan Gosling

I don’t think it’s embarrassing to admit I have a man crush on Ryan Gosling. If I could do the whole ‘Freaky Friday’ switch with anyone, it would be him. Not only is he an insanely talented actor, he also just seems like a super cool dude. Watch a few of his interviews and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

I say all this because when I see him starring in a movie, I automatically want to watch it. Gosling’s next film is ‘First Man,’ which shows him taking on the life of Neil Armstrong.

The movie is based on a book by James R. Hansen and chronicles the story of NASA’s mission to land a man on the moon. Emmy-winning actress Claire Foy will play Armstrong’s wife in the film. Damien Chazelle, who worked with Gosling on La La Land, is the director behind this project.

In addition to Gosling and Foy, you’ll also find Kyle Chandler, Jason Clarke and Ethan Embry in this movie. It’s set to be released inside a theater near you October 12, 2018.

Check Out The First Images Of Ryan Gosling As Neil Armstrong In ‘First Man’

Ryan Gosling is one of the most talented actors in Hollywood, and Damien Chazelle is one of the most talented filmmakers, so when they join each other for a project…WE TAKE NOTICE!

Universal has released the first images from the upcoming biopic First Man, which stars Gosling as astronaut Neil Armstrong. The logline for this movie is pretty vague, but writer Josh Singer promises it’ll be a mission movie

“This is 100 percent a mission movie. It’s about going to the moon as seen through the eyes of the guy who got there. We have at least five major set pieces that are action, and if your heart rate doesn’t go through the roof, if you’re not gripping the edge of your seat the entire times, I’ll be shocked.”

And that’s somewhat surprising, ’cause most biopics cover the entire life of a person and focus more on family and personal relationships.

The first images released don’t show much of the action Singer describes, but they do give us our first look at Gosling as Armstrong…

In addition to Gosling, this movie also stars Claire Foy, Kyle Chandler, Corey Stoll and Jon Bernthal. It’ll hit theaters October 12, 2018.

Harrison Ford And Ryan Gosling Have A Hilarious Interview With Reporter Who Has An Infectious Laugh (VIDEO)

It’s been a terrible week for the world with the incredibly depressing mass shooting in Las Vegas and the death of Tom Petty. We all could use a laugh or two, and thankfully you’re about to get those laughs.

Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling have been busy doing interviews promoting their new film together, Blade Runner 2049, and most of the interviews have been pretty standard (aka boring)

But one reporter named Alison Hammond brought some much needed life to the interview session. She was interviewing the two stars on Wednesday morning, and she immediately grabbed their attention with her infectious laugh.

I’ve never seen Ford laugh this hard. It was delightful seeing him have so much fun, and you know, Gosling is always entertaining and charming.

By the way, Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters this weekend. Go watch it.
