‘Ride Along 2’ Trailer Has Been Released, Check Out Ice Cube And Kevin Hart In Action!

We showed you the new poster yesterday, with the message, “The Brothers-In-Law Are Back,” Ice Cube and Kevin Hart have returned for the Ride Along sequel. Tim Story directed the film, which Ice Cube promises to be “bigger and better” than the original.

The 46-year-old actor told Entertainment Weekly the following…

“We wanted to turn up the comedy, do things people haven’t seen. We have to ride that into new jokes and situations and make it seem like the relationship is moving forward.”

We won’t know if they were successful until the film hits theaters January 15, 2016. But since the film stars both Mr. Cube and Kevin Hart, it will probably make a lot of money, regardless of how funny or original it is. The first movie wasn’t exactly a hit with critics; however, it still earned a worldwide total of more than $153 million against a budget of just $25 million.

Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi teamed up to create the screenplay. Olivia Munn, Ken Jeong and Tika Sumpter will join Hart and Cube in the film.

You can check out the first trailer below. What do you think? Are you excited?

“In The Hateful Eight, set six or eight or twelve years after the Civil War, a stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape. The passengers, bounty hunter John Ruth (Russell) and his fugitive Daisy Domergue (Leigh), race towards the town of Red Rock where Ruth, known in these parts as “The Hangman,” will bring Domergue to justice. Along the road, they encounter two strangers: Major Marquis Warren (Jackson), a black former union soldier turned infamous bounty hunter, and Chris Mannix (Goggins), a southern renegade who claims to be the town’s new Sheriff. Losing their lead on the blizzard, Ruth, Domergue, Warren and Mannix seek refuge at Minnie’s Haberdashery, a stagecoach stopover on a mountain pass. When they arrive at Minnie’s, they are greeted not by the proprietor but by four unfamiliar faces. Bob (Bichir), who’s taking care of Minnie’s while she’s visiting her mother, is holed up with Oswaldo Mobray (Roth), the hangman of Red Rock, cow-puncher Joe Gage (Madsen), and Confederate General Sanford Smithers (Dern). As the storm overtakes the mountainside stopover, our eight travelers come to learn they may not make it to Red Rock after all…”
