Sylvester Stallone Has Beef With ‘Rocky’ Producer Over Ownership Rights

76-year-old actor (yes, he’s 76 now!) Sylvester Stallone has major beef with Irwin Winkler, the producer behind the original ‘Rocky’ film.

According to Stallone, the 93-year-old producer has been super greedy when it comes to the Rocky/Creed franchise.

After Irwin controlling ‘Rocky’ for over 47 years, and now ‘Creed’, I really would like to have at least a little [of] WHAT’S LEFT of my rights back, before passing it on to ONLY YOUR CHILDREN — I believe that would be a fair gesture from this 93-year-old gentleman?

Even though Stallone wrote and starred in the original film way back in 1976 (and continued to star in its sequels) he claims he was pushed out of any ownership rights.

He did receive first-dollar gross on the early ‘Rocky’ sequels and earned net points off the original film, which brought in over $200 million worldwide. So he definitely made some nice money from the flicks.

But he says it’s starting to die down because he doesn’t have any ownership.

I have zero ownership of ‘Rocky. It was shocking that it never came to be, but I was told, ‘Hey, you got paid, so what are you complaining about?’ I was furious. This is a painful subject that eats at my soul, because I wanted to leave something of Rocky for my children, but it’s always great hearing from the loyal fans… Keep punching.

I feel for him, but I don’t know. If at 93-years-old, this producer still hasn’t offered any, I doubt he’s going to change his mind now.

Renee Zellweger Claims Producer Offered Her Alcohol While Convincing Her To Do Nude Scene

Renee Zellweger was the feature of Harper’s Bazaar latest cover story, and during the lengthy discussion, the 52-year-old actress talked about some questionable interactions she’s had while on set.

She remembered one time a producer offered her some wine before a nude scene. His reasoning being that if she’s drunk, she’ll be more likely to do it.

There have been times I have been in, you know, on set, where a producer’s ready for me to go ahead and take my clothes off: ‘Here, drink this wine, ’cause then you’ll do it,’ And, you know, I’m not gonna take that wine, but I would like a phone. ’Cause I have a phone call I need to make right now.’

Zellweger has never been a fan of nude scenes. Back in 2001, she revealed she turned down Cameron Crowe’s request for her to have a topless scene in the hit film Jerry Maguire.

It’s not like Cameron’s big plan was to have this sleazy, gratuitous boob shot. That’s not in him, and I’d do anything for him — with the exception of that. When a woman stands naked in a room, unless that particular moment is held up by the subject matter, all you notice is that there’s a naked girl.

I mean, she’s not wrong. There are times where I do believe nudity can legitimately add to the story being told, but those are rare. Most of the time, it’s just, “Hey, don’t these boobs look nice?”

It’s cool to see Zellweger sticking to her beliefs. You can catch the talented actress in the new NBC limited series, The Thing About Pam.

‘James Bond’ Producer Says The Famous Character Will Never Be A Woman

There are a lot of people out there who want the next James Bond to be a woman. After all, we already had an all-female Ghostbusters, why not a female James Bond?

Well, one of the producers of the spy franchise says that will probably never happen, at least not while she has any say in the matter.

Producer Barbara Broccoli spoke to Variety recently, and she said Bond can’t be a female.

He can be of any color, but he is male. I believe we should be creating new characters for women — strong female characters. I’m not particularly interested in taking a male character and having a woman play it. I think women are far more interesting than that.

Obviously, I think she makes a wonderful point. Why are we just giving women sloppy seconds? We don’t need to give them old characters to play, we need to give them new characters. CREATE AN ENTIRE FRANCHISE AROUND A FEMALE CHARACTER! A NEW, EXCITING FRANCHISE!

Barbara (cause I refuse to call her Broccoli) says she doesn’t know who will be the next Bond, but she still has doubts that Daniel Craig is truly done.

I’m in total denial. I’ve accepted what Daniel has said, but I’m still in denial. It’s too traumatic for me.

Tyrese Gibson Will Produce And Star In Upcoming Thriller ‘Inside Game’

It looks like Tyrese Gibson’s money problems are behind him now as 2020 shapes up to be a huge year for him. He’s set to reprise his role as Roman Pearce in the upcoming Fast & Furious 9. He’ll also be seen in the action-adventure film Morbius, which is set for a July 2020 release date.

In addition to the two films listed above, Gibson will produce and star in an upcoming thriller titled Inside Game. Filming is expected to begin in November of 2019.

Not only will Gibson star and produce, he also co-wrote the script with Ryan Jackson, so his hands are all over this film.

The Inside Game is a dramatic thriller set in a lurid world of blackmail and extortion. Gibson will play the lead role of Jamal Smith, a Miami police officer with a penchant for not doing things by the book who is suspended for excessive force. When he returns home to the urban streets of Atlanta, he finds himself thrown into the dark underworld of high stakes blackmail and extortion, which has ensnared his brother, a pro football star.

Sounds exciting, I suppose. It kinda sounds like they just tossed in that “pro football star” subplot, but we’ll see how it plays out.

Gibson said in a statement that he’s beyond grateful for this opportunity, “Being able to follow ‘Fast & Furious 9’ and ‘Morbius’ with this project is going to make for a great 2020!” he added.

Jennifer Lawrence Reveals A Producer Made Her Do A Nude Lineup To Show Her She Needed To Lose Weight

The ugly truth behind the glitzy mask of Hollywood continues to ooze out. Hollywood has treated women poorly for too long, and now for the first time, the women are joining together and speaking out.

During ELLE’s Women in Hollywood event on Monday, Jennifer Lawrence talked about how a female producer forced her to do a nude lineup with five women who were much thinner than she was at the time.

“And, during this time, a female producer had me do a nude lineup with about five women who were much, much thinner than me. And we all stood side-by-side with only paste-ons covering our privates. After that degrading and humiliating lineup, the female producer told me I should use the naked photos of myself as inspiration for my diet.”

And when she asked to speak to another producer about the unrealistic diet requirements, he responded by telling her he didn’t know why everyone wanted her to lose weight, because to him, she was “perfectly f**kable.”

During another film, Lawrence was asked to lose 15 pounds in two weeks, and at the time, she felt trapped because she did not have any power in the business. She was still young.

“I couldn’t have gotten a producer or a director or a studio head fired. I let myself be treated a certain way because I felt like I had to for my career. I was young and walking that fine line of sticking up for myself without being called difficult, which they did call me, but I believe the word they used was ‘nightmare.'”

‘A Dog’s Purpose’ Producer Defends Crew, Explains “Misleading” Leaked Video And Slams PETA

You all should know about the drama surrounding A Dog’s Purpose. A film that was designed to show the special connection between humans and dogs. It was supposed to make us cry and love our pets even more than we already do.

And it did that, even before its release, but it was for all the wrong reasons. TMZ posted a video last week filmed on the set of the movie back in 2015. The video shows a dog being forced into a pool of water. If you haven’t seen it, you can click on this link. It’s a pretty disturbing video, and it ends on a really scary note when the dog goes under the water and a woman screams “CUT IT! CUT IT!”

The reaction from the internet was so severe that the studio decided to cancel the red carpet premiere in Los Angeles last weekend. And several organizations, including PETA, want people to boycott the movie.

Well, now we are hearing from one of the producers on the film. Gavin Polone wrote a long letter about the incident, claiming it “portrays an inaccurate picture of what happened.”

He also claims PETA is using this video to promote their “extreme” agenda to remove all animals from film.

“Not only have they been circulating the TMZ video, which portrays an inaccurate picture of what happened, but they have included a clip from our trailer where you see the dog jumping into a treacherous rushing wall of water. But THAT ISN’T A REAL DOG, it is a computer-generated dog leaping into the water. Isn’t that the definition of ‘fake news’?”

But even though he’s angry with PETA for taking advantage of this situation, he still wants to make it clear that he does not support what happened in the video. He believes the trainer should have removed the dog from the dangerous situation.

“These two things are absolutely INEXCUSABLE and should NEVER have happened. The dog trainer should have stopped trying to get the dog to go in the water as soon as the dog seemed uncomfortable, and the trainers should have had support under the dog as soon as he came to the side of the pool and/or had less turbulence in the water so he never would have gone under.”
