Martin McDonagh, the talented filmmaker responsible for films like ‘In Bruges‘ and ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri‘ is ready for his next project.
According to the reports, McDonagh is reuniting with Disney’s Searchlight to fund his next feature film.
Not much is known about the project, but we do know it’ll be set in Ireland and it’ll center on a friendship that has gone sour, “At an impasse, one abruptly ends the friendship, resulting in alarming consequences for both.”
Like with his past films, McDonagh will write and direct. Production is expected to begin later this year. As of right now, the cast has not been finalized.
We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available. His last film ‘Three Billboards’ made over $160 million at the box office and was nominated for seven academy awards.
