The First Trailer For ‘Matrix 4’ Has Been Released, And The Internet Is Freaking Out

The internet is going crazy after the first trailer for ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ dropped early Thursday morning.

As expected, it features some pretty incredible visuals and little teases of things to come. The movie continues the story of Thomas Anderson (Neo), played by Keanu Reeves, and Trinity, played by Carrie-Anne Moss.

Seemingly once again trapped inside the simulated reality controlled by machines. The preview sets up that Anderson, aka Neo, does not seem to remember his past or who he is, while he discusses his dreams with a therapist played by Neil Patrick Harris. Neo and Trinity apparently do not know each other — yet.

In just one hour, the trailer had over 1 million views. Footage of this new flick was first shared at CinemaCon, where it created an insane amount of buzz.

The Matrix Resurrections also stars Christina Ricci, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jonathan Groff and Jada Pinkett Smith.

It’s set to be released inside theaters, as well as HBO Max, on December 22, 2021. An early Christmas gift for fans around the world.

‘Matrix 4’ Has Resumed Filming In Berlin, Keanu Reeves Returns!

Production is still pretty much on pause here in the states, but overseas, film sets are starting to fire up the lights once again.

TMZ has obtained photos of Keanu Reeves and Neil Patrick Harris arriving in Berlin to resume filming on the Matrix 4.

Leading man Keanu Reeves along with his costar and on-screen lover, Carrie-Anne Moss, were both spotted in Berlin this week and presumably heading to their trailers, as they looked ready to get back into character and start filming, after several months off due to ‘rona.

Last we heard, they were going to start filming again in July, so it’s possible they’re just arriving in Berlin a little early to prepare.

It’s also possible they decided to start up filming a few weeks early. Maybe they see the cases going up and are thinking, “Sh*t. Let’s just try to shoot this real quick before the next lockdown!”

Who knows. In any event, the stars are in place. Little is known about NPH’s character. He’ll be one of several new faces joining the franchise.

Matrix 4 is scheduled to be released in April 2022.

Check Out New Image From ‘Bill & Ted 3’ Featuring Keanu Reeves And Alex Winter

Dean Parisot, the director of the upcoming ‘Bill & Ted 3’ film is finally giving fans a little more information on this sequel.

In addition to sharing the first look image you see above, he also shared some much needed plot details. This third film, titled, ‘Bill & Ted Face the Music‘ was written by Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson, the same writing team from the previous installments.

During a little piece for Empire magazine, Parisot revealed Bill and Ted will be on a ticking clock during this sequel…

We’ve gone from a homework assignment to saving all space and time. We bypassed all those possible traumas in the middle. They have an hour and 18 minutes. So they’re in trouble. And let’s say that they have to travel all over the place to try and figure it out.

So this likely means the runtime of the film will be just one hour and 18 minutes, which is honestly a breath of fresh air. So many films are going toward a longer runtime now. It can be a bit exhausting.

This movie is expected to hit theaters on August 21, 2020.

The New Trailer For ‘The SpongeBob Movie’ Features Surprise Keanu Reeves Cameo

‘The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run‘ won’t hit theaters until May 22, 2020, but the fine folks in charge of promoting the film are already giving us the first teaser trailer.

And this new trailer features a surprise appearance from Keanu Reeves.

This movie was written/directed by Tim Hill, and the story revolves around SpongeBob’s pet snail Gary being snail-napped.

After SpongeBob’s beloved pet snail Gary is snail-napped, he and Patrick embark on an epic adventure to The Lost City of Atlantic City to bring Gary home. As they navigate the delights and dangers on this perilous and hilarious rescue mission, SpongeBob and his pals prove there’s nothing stronger than the power of friendship.

Sounds like a classic story. The impressive voice cast includes Awkwafina, Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown and Reggie Watts.

The First Trailer For ‘John Wick 3’ Has Arrived, Watch The Action Inside!

Keanu Reeves is back in ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum‘ and this time he’s joined by Halle Berry. This film picks up right after the events of 2017’s John Wick: Chapter 2.

Chad Stahelski, the co-director of the first installment and sole director of the second film is back for this third installment. The first film made $88 million worldwide and the second film earned an impressive $171 million globally. Both films were made for under $40 million, so the return has been very nice.

In addition to Reeves and Berry, this third installment will also star Laurence Fishburne, Anjelica Huston and Lance Reddick.

“John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s ‘Excommunicado’ – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. Halle Berry Will Star In ‘John Wick: Chapter 3’ Get The Details Inside!

We know that Keanu Reeves is returning for ‘John Wick: Chapter 3‘ we also know that director Chad Stahelski will return as well, which means the original core from the first film is still in place. That’s always huge for a franchise.

The first movie in the series made over $85 million at the box office and really took off once it was released online. The second film made over $170 million at the box office against a budget of just $40 million. It’s safe to say the studio’s decision to make a second film was a smart move.

But will the success continue for Chapter 3? We’ll just have to wait and see. It was reported this week that Halle Berry has signed on to star opposite of Reeves in this upcoming third installment.

The details surrounding her character are being kept secret, but insiders say she will not be playing the villain.

“The story picks up after the events of Chapter 2, which finds Wick, a former assassin who tried and failed to live the quiet life, with a $14 million price tag on his head and an army of bounty-hunting killers on his trail. After killing a member of the shadowy international assassin’s guild, the High Table, John Wick is excommunicado,’ but the world’s most ruthless hit men and  women await his every turn.”

John Wick: Chapter 3 will hit theaters May 17, 2019.

John Wick Director Chad Stahelski Will Return To Direct ‘John Wick 3’

Well, it’s a happy Friday for all you John Wick fans out there. According to a new report from That Hashtag Show, Chad Stahelski has officially signed on to direct the third (and possibly final) installment in the John Wick franchise.

As most of you know, he co-directed the first film and was the sole director for John Wick 2. The report also claims that Common, Ruby Rose and Laurence Fishburne will return for this third movie. Production is set to begin next month (February) and the release date is currently scheduled for May 17, 2019.

This franchise really came out of nowhere. The original film was released, kinda under the radar, and then it blew up. Word of mouth really set this franchise up for a nice run. And it doesn’t hurt that the nicest dude in Hollywood, Keanu Reeves, has the lead role.

For those wondering, the first film made $88 million and the second movie brought home $171 million. If the trend continues, John Wick 3 could push $200 million at the box office.

Get Your First Look At Winona Ryder And Keanu Reeves In Their Romantic Comedy ‘Destination Wedding’ (PHOTO)

Did you just binge watch season two of Stranger Things? Are you looking to find out what everyone from the cast is doing right now? Well, we don’t have an update on everyone, but we do know what Winona Ryder is doing.

She just finished filming a romantic comedy titled ‘Destination Wedding‘ with the nicest guy in Hollywood, Keanu Reeves. The news was announced last month, and now we’re getting our first look at Reeves and Ryder together.

The film, directed and written by Victor Levin, stars Reeves and Ryder as two “miserable and unpleasant wedding guests, both pariahs at this affair, who develop a mutual affection despite themselves.”

A release date for this movie has not been released, but we will keep you posted. The last time Reeves and Ryder appeared in a movie together was in 2006 for Richard Linklater’s A Scanner Darkly. They also appeared in the 1992 film Bram Stoker’s Dracula together, so this will be the third time they shared the big screen.

It’s not clear if this film will have a wide release, or maybe if it’ll be a VOD release.

We Have An Official Release Date For ‘John Wick: Chapter Three’

Good guy Keanu Reeves saw his career get back on track when he starred in the first John Wick movie. The small budget action flick surprised everyone in 2014 when it earned over $80 million at the worldwide box office.

John Wick 2 was released earlier this year, and it brought home $171.5 million worldwide. That’s a successful a** franchise right there, especially when you remember the fact that they were working with budgets under $40 million.

So it should not surprise you to hear that a third movie in the franchise will be coming soon. John Wick: Chapter Three will be released inside a theater near you May 17, 2019. Lionsgate announced the exciting news yesterday. Reeves will of course come back for the starring role. No word on anyone else in the cast, but we will keep you posted.

The second film in the franchise was not only a success at the box office, it also scored well with the critics. It got a terrific 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, improving on the 85% rating the first film received.

By the way, no other film has been set for the May 17, 2019 release date, so John Wick currently owns that day at the box office.

Keanu Reeves And Winona Ryder Are Teaming Up Once Again For New Romantic Comedy “Destination Wedding’

Both Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder have found stardom again. Ryder with the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, and Reeves with the John Wick film franchise.

And now, they will continue their rise together in a new romantic comedy titled Destination Wedding. The film is being directed by Victor Levin, who most recently directed the dramedy 5 to 7 in 2014. He also wrote the script, which tells the story “of two miserable and unpleasant wedding guests, both pariahs at this affair, who develop a mutual affection despite themselves.”

It won’t be the first time Reeves and Ryder have worked together on set. They starred in the 1992 film Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and they also worked together in 2006 on Richard Linklater’s A Scanner Darkly.

Sunshine Pictures’ Gail Lyon is producing, and she’s pumped for the Ryder/Reeves combination…

“Elizabeth and I have both known Vic a long time. And it’s been our collective pleasure to work together, along with Cassian and The Fyzz, to bring this movie to life. Keanu and Winona bring a lot of history and chemistry to their roles, which adds a wonderful dimension to their performances and their dynamic.”
