The ‘Honest Trailer’ For The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 Has Been Released, Watch It Inside!

hun

As some of you may know, I was a huge fan of The Hunger Games franchise. I’m a fan of any franchise that attempts to get teenagers thinking and talking about the challenges the world could be facing in the future. Yeah, there was a lot of attention on the love triangle between Peeta, Katniss and Gale, but the love story was always treated as a bonus.

Sadly, the final two films in the franchise (Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2) could have been better. Catching Fire was such a great movie, it was disappointing to see the franchise go downhill after it.

But now that it’s been a few months since Mockingjay Part 2 was released, I feel like I’m ready to look back and share a laugh with the brilliant folks at Screen Junkies. They just released the honest trailer for the final installment of the franchise, and yes it’s filled with a lot of Peeta slams.

Check out the hilariousness below. Obviously there are spoilers, so if you haven’t watched the movie or read the books, you might want to save this video for later.

The New ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2’ Poster Is Incredible, Check It Out Inside!

You can argue all you want about the quality of the films in the Hunger Games franchise. Personally, I have enjoyed the films, but I can understand why some people dislike them.

But when it comes to their marketing? You can’t deny their brilliance. The weakest film in the series, Mockingjay Part 1, had some of the best marketing I have ever seen. The haunting TV address from President Snow, the special clip showing Beetee interrupting one of Snow’s speeches, the entertaining trailers, and the badass posters.

The marketing team for Lionsgate should rename their department to Lionsgreat. They just released a new poster for the final film in the franchise, Mockingjay – Part 2, and it’s absolutely stunning.  As you can see, things don’t look good for President Snow. I’ll just leave it at that. You won’t find any spoilers here.

And while this poster is nice, fans are still waiting for the first trailer. Some people believe the first trailer will be released this month; however, several sources claim fans could be in for a much longer wait. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 will hit theaters Nov. 20.

Watch Katniss Give President Snow A Threatening Message In Final ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay’ Trailer

It looks like the promotion team behind ‘Mockingjay’ had one more trick up their sleeve. Tickets for the third film in the ‘Hunger Games‘ franchise went on sell yesterday (I already purchased mine) and to celebrate, Lionsgate released the final trailer for the highly-anticipated film.

And we’re not lying when we say that it’s one of the most anticipated films of 2014. It landed atop Fandango’s list of most-anticipated films for 2014. They began filming Mockingjay — Part 1 back in late 2013, and wrapped everything up in June of this year.

In the final trailer down below, President Snow delivers a special message to Katniss, “Prepare to pay the ultimate price, Ms. Everdeen.” He warns her.

But Katniss fights back with her own message, “I have a message for President Snow. If we burn… You burn with us.” That is probably the most powerful moment in the final trailer, which is saying a lot because it’s filled with quite a few explosions.

Check it out down below, and be sure to get your tickets now. The film officially hits theaters on November 21, but we all know the real fans will catch the early showing on November 20.

Check Out A Bloody And Bruised Peeta In New ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’ Teaser

mc

We are now less than a month away from the release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1. As a huge fan of the franchise, I have been trying my best to contain my excitement, but the new teaser released this week has pushed me over the edge.

The clip is just 40-seconds long, well, really it’s not even that long because Doritos had to get their cheesy promotion in. But that’s okay, because the rest of the clip is jam-packed with action. Even Peeta makes a brief appearance in this teaser, and we finally see the difficult choice Katniss must make.

When she sees that Peeta is still alive, she immediately knows what she must do. She has to save him. But not everyone believes this is a good idea. Just check out Gale’s face at the 18-second mark. He’s like, “You’ve got to be kidding me!”

Mockingjay Part 1 will hit theaters Nov. 21. Advance tickets go on sale Oct. 29 at 12pm ET. Hopefully they offer the “marathon” viewing like they did last year. If you are a big fan of the franchise, I suggest you get tickets for the marathon event. It’s well worth the extra money.
