The ‘Honest Trailer’ For The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 Has Been Released, Watch It Inside!

hun

As some of you may know, I was a huge fan of The Hunger Games franchise. I’m a fan of any franchise that attempts to get teenagers thinking and talking about the challenges the world could be facing in the future. Yeah, there was a lot of attention on the love triangle between Peeta, Katniss and Gale, but the love story was always treated as a bonus.

Sadly, the final two films in the franchise (Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2) could have been better. Catching Fire was such a great movie, it was disappointing to see the franchise go downhill after it.

But now that it’s been a few months since Mockingjay Part 2 was released, I feel like I’m ready to look back and share a laugh with the brilliant folks at Screen Junkies. They just released the honest trailer for the final installment of the franchise, and yes it’s filled with a lot of Peeta slams.

Check out the hilariousness below. Obviously there are spoilers, so if you haven’t watched the movie or read the books, you might want to save this video for later.

The New ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2’ Poster Is Incredible, Check It Out Inside!

You can argue all you want about the quality of the films in the Hunger Games franchise. Personally, I have enjoyed the films, but I can understand why some people dislike them.

But when it comes to their marketing? You can’t deny their brilliance. The weakest film in the series, Mockingjay Part 1, had some of the best marketing I have ever seen. The haunting TV address from President Snow, the special clip showing Beetee interrupting one of Snow’s speeches, the entertaining trailers, and the badass posters.

The marketing team for Lionsgate should rename their department to Lionsgreat. They just released a new poster for the final film in the franchise, Mockingjay – Part 2, and it’s absolutely stunning.  As you can see, things don’t look good for President Snow. I’ll just leave it at that. You won’t find any spoilers here.

And while this poster is nice, fans are still waiting for the first trailer. Some people believe the first trailer will be released this month; however, several sources claim fans could be in for a much longer wait. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 will hit theaters Nov. 20.

The Five Most Anticipated 2015 Films: ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Tops List

saa

We are just one day away from 2015, which means we are now saying goodbye to 2014. Instead of looking back at 2014, we are looking forward to the new year. There are some huge movies being released in 2015, and now we know the five films you are most looking forward to watching, thanks to a survey by Fandango.

They polled 1,000 fans on their site to determine the five most anticipated films of 2015. According to the same Fandango poll last year, Hunger Games: Mockingjay was the most anticipated film of 2014. This year, the Hunger Games franchise fell down slightly on the list, thanks to some stiff competition.

Check out the top five films (according to Fandango users) down below. Do you agree? What 2015 movie are you most excited about seeing?

No. 1 – Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Trailer

No surprise here. The internet almost exploded when the teaser trailer was released last month. Star Wars fans will have to wait all year for this movie, though. The release date is scheduled for Dec. 18, 2015. So basically you have another year to wait.

No. 2 – Avengers: Age of Ultron – Trailer

Again, this shouldn’t surprise you. This is a sequel to the most financially-successful superhero film of all-time. The original Avengers grossed over $1.5 billion worldwide. It was the first Marvel production to hit $1 billion in ticket sales. Fans of the franchise won’t have to wait too much longer for the sequel. It will open May 1, 2015.

No. 3 – Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

Just like with Star Wars, Katniss fans all over the world will have to wait until the end of the year to watch their favorite hero kick a** one last time. As some of you know, I am a huge fan of the franchise, so this is definitely one of my most anticipated films of 2015.  It is scheduled to hit theaters Nov. 20, 2015.

No. 4 – Fifty Shades of Grey – Trailer

What’s that old saying? Don’t judge a movie by its book? Some of you (me, me, me!) may dislike the story, but at least this movie is the only non-sequel on the list. We complain about sequels all the time, but that’s what the average moviegoer wants to see. Everyone is scared of originality. I mean, the only reason Fifty Shades of Grey was made into a film was because of the successful book. Studios know these films will make them money. You can watch Dakota Johnson live out your sexual fantasies on the big screen Feb. 13, 2015.

No. 5 – Jurassic World – Trailer

I am so scared to watch this film. I love the Jurassic Park franchise, but the trailer released for Jurassic World didn’t excite me. I will say that it did look a little better when I saw it on the big screen before watching the final Hobbit film, but it still has me worried. We’ll see what happens June 12, 2015.

There you have it, folks. That’s the Fandango list. Personally, I would have replaced Fifty Shades of Grey with Tomorrowland.
