We are just one day away from 2015, which means we are now saying goodbye to 2014. Instead of looking back at 2014, we are looking forward to the new year. There are some huge movies being released in 2015, and now we know the five films you are most looking forward to watching, thanks to a survey by Fandango.
They polled 1,000 fans on their site to determine the five most anticipated films of 2015. According to the same Fandango poll last year, Hunger Games: Mockingjay was the most anticipated film of 2014. This year, the Hunger Games franchise fell down slightly on the list, thanks to some stiff competition.
Check out the top five films (according to Fandango users) down below. Do you agree? What 2015 movie are you most excited about seeing?

No. 1 – Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Trailer
No surprise here. The internet almost exploded when the teaser trailer was released last month. Star Wars fans will have to wait all year for this movie, though. The release date is scheduled for Dec. 18, 2015. So basically you have another year to wait.

No. 2 – Avengers: Age of Ultron – Trailer
Again, this shouldn’t surprise you. This is a sequel to the most financially-successful superhero film of all-time. The original Avengers grossed over $1.5 billion worldwide. It was the first Marvel production to hit $1 billion in ticket sales. Fans of the franchise won’t have to wait too much longer for the sequel. It will open May 1, 2015.

No. 3 – Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2
Just like with Star Wars, Katniss fans all over the world will have to wait until the end of the year to watch their favorite hero kick a** one last time. As some of you know, I am a huge fan of the franchise, so this is definitely one of my most anticipated films of 2015. It is scheduled to hit theaters Nov. 20, 2015.

No. 4 – Fifty Shades of Grey – Trailer
What’s that old saying? Don’t judge a movie by its book? Some of you (me, me, me!) may dislike the story, but at least this movie is the only non-sequel on the list. We complain about sequels all the time, but that’s what the average moviegoer wants to see. Everyone is scared of originality. I mean, the only reason Fifty Shades of Grey was made into a film was because of the successful book. Studios know these films will make them money. You can watch Dakota Johnson live out your sexual fantasies on the big screen Feb. 13, 2015.

No. 5 – Jurassic World – Trailer
I am so scared to watch this film. I love the Jurassic Park franchise, but the trailer released for Jurassic World didn’t excite me. I will say that it did look a little better when I saw it on the big screen before watching the final Hobbit film, but it still has me worried. We’ll see what happens June 12, 2015.
There you have it, folks. That’s the Fandango list. Personally, I would have replaced Fifty Shades of Grey with Tomorrowland.
