6 Great Films Being Added To Netflix In March

Compared to previous months, March is going to be a little slow in the film category for Netflix. There are several television shows to look out for next month including, 3rd Rock From Sun, the 5th season of Archer, and the 7th season of Mad Men.

However, the film additions are lacking in March, but don’t you worry! We were still able to find six great films being added to the streaming service next month.

No. 6 – Evelyn (2002)

Being added: March 1

Starring: Pierce Brosnan, Julianna Margulies, and Sophie Vavasseur.

Synopsis: “One man takes on the Irish family law system and the Catholic Church in a bid to be reunited with his children in this drama, based on a true story.”

Why you should watch: To say you have watched a film starring Pierce Brosnan where he wasn’t playing some dude called James Bond.

No. 5 – How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014)

Being added: March 11

Starring: A handful of familiar voices.

Synopsis: “When Hiccup and Toothless discover an ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace.”

Why you should watch: It’s better than the original film, which is saying a lot because the first movie was outstanding.

No. 4 – Patch Adams (1998)

Being added: March 1

Starring: Robin Williams, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Daniel London.

Synopsis: “The fact-based story of an unconventional physician who attempted to heal patients with laughter, based on his own book and mixing equal doses of scatological humor and pathos.”

Why you should watch: Robin Williams. Also, I feel like I am the only one who actually enjoyed this movie. I need more people on my side.

No. 3 – Aziz Ansari Live at Madison Square Garden (2015)

Being added: March 6

Starring: Aziz Ansari, microphone, and thousands of strangers laughing.

Synopsis: Aziz tells funny jokes.

Why you should watch: Parks & Rec is now over. How else are we supposed to get our weekly dose of Aziz?

No. 2 – Dummy (2002)

Being added: March 17

Starring: Adrien Brody, Milla Jovovich, and Illeana Douglas.

Synopsis: “An ex-office worker becomes a ventriloquist, leading to a date with his unemployment counselor; but his quirky family and a gauche female friend may thwart his new career and love life.”

Why you should watch: It’s such an underrated film. Milla Jovovich steals the show, Adrien Brody plays his part beautifully, it’s just a lovely film that more people should appreciate. Oh, and you’ll probably laugh a lot.

No. 1 – Life Itself (2014)

Being added: March 19

Starring: Roger Ebert

Synopsis: “The life and career of the renowned film critic and social commentator, Roger Ebert.”

Why you should watch: I haven’t even watched this documentary yet, but I feel safe recommending it. It scored a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, which probably isn’t that surprising. However, it’s not just critics who enjoyed the film. Everyone is giving it two thumbs up. I can’t wait to check it out.
