Watch The First Trailer For Fast and Furious Spinoff ‘Hobbs and Shaw’

Do you want more Fast & Furious in your life? More Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham? Well, this is your special day. The first trailer for Hobbs and Shaw has been released. The film is the first spinoff from the Fast and Furious cinematic universe, which I firmly believe is the worst universe out there.

“The first trailer reintroduces two popular Fast and Furious characters — Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) — as they team up to take on a new villain played by Idris Elba. Statham has described Hobbs and Shaw as a funnier, wilder version of the Fast and Furious franchise, telling Entertainment Weekly in December that people should expect some pretty goofy scenes.”

Funnier and wilder than Fast and Furious? NO WAY. IMPOSSIBLE! Nothing could be more wild and more hilarious than Vin Diesel talking about his family for two hours.

The only thing good about this movie is that Diesel has made it clear he hates it because he’s not starring in it and The Rock is, which kinda makes us happy on the inside.

Hobbs and Shaw is set to be released July 26, 2019. Check out the trailer below…

Idris Elba Will Reportedly Play The Main Villain In Upcoming ‘Fast & Furious’ Spinoff Starring Dwayne Johnson

What does the world need more of right now? Love? Peace? Ramen? Yes, yes, and oh hell yes.

What does the world need less of right now? Fast & Furious movies. In fact, we don’t just need less of them, we need to go back in time and erase the last three or four.

Sadly, we can’t do that. Hollywood loves a good action flick and they’re getting another one with the upcoming ‘Hobbs and Shaw‘ film, which is a Fast & Furious spinoff.

The movie stars Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham reprising their roles as special agent Luke Hobbs and criminal mastermind Deckard Shaw.

And every good action movie needs a villain, right? Well we are now hearing that Idris Elba is in final negotiations to play the main villain in the movie. Not much else is known, but we know production is scheduled to begin in the fall, so we’re sure this deal will be finalized soon.

We will keep you posted. In the meantime, go write a letter to your local government official and urge them to stop the production of Fast & Furious installments.

They’re ruining the environment.
