Aubrey Plaza Reveals Kristen Stewart Had COVID-19 While Filming ‘Happiest Season’

The gay romance Christmas movie ‘Happiest Season’ premiered on Hulu late last month, and the majority of people seemed to enjoy it.

I watched it last week and thought it was extremely unoriginal, but hey, sometimes that’s what the people want.

Anyway, during a recent interview with Stephen Colbert, Aubrey Plaza accidentally shared that Kristen Stewart had COVID-19 while filming the movie back in February of this year.

She explained that they had shot the film right before the virus really started to spread, “like COVID was on our set. Kristen got sick. We didn’t know,” she revealed.

Colbert responded, almost in shock, “Are we breaking news right now? Do people know Kristen Stewart got sick? he asked her.

Plaza quickly apologized for oversharing…

A lot of people got sick. Ithink it was the last week of February, so people were starting—it was like that zone where people were starting to talk about coronavirus but people were kind of laughing about it. Nobody understood how serious it was. But I think a bunch of people on our set got sick. I didn’t, thank god.

When I was leaving the set and going to the airport, probably on like February 29th or something, I said to like one of the transpo guys, like, ‘Do you think I should be worried about this, like, virus thing? Like, what’s going on with this thing?’

His reply? “It’s already here.”

And that’s something we’re slowly learning. It was here at least a month or two before we knew, and possibly longer than that, although it’s only been confirmed dating back to December 2019.
