Get Excited, Nickelodeon Is Making A Live-Action ‘Legends Of The Hidden Temple’ TV Movie!

legg

Nickelodeon has decided to add to the already crowded world of unnecessary remakes/revivals. During their presentation on their new slate of original programming, Nickelodeon announced the popular ’90s game show ‘Legends of the Hidden Temple‘ would be coming back in a way you probably didn’t expect.

The plan is to bring the series back to life by creating a two-part live-action TV movie, which will “mirror the theme of the original game show” by following a group of siblings as they face a series of ridiculous obstacles to stay alive.

According to the report, Isabela Moner (100 Things to Do Before High School) will star in the movie. It’s scheduled to be released on the channel during the fourth quarter of 2016. Joe Menendez is the director behind the project, and production will begin later this month.

And yes, Olmec the talking stone head will be featured in the film. If you have no idea what we’re talking about, please watch the video below to see the greatness you missed in the ’90s…

Honestly, I’d be more excited if they announced that they were bringing the actual game show back. However, if this movie does well, then maybe there will be enough support to bring the show back.

So I encourage all of you to support this movie, even if it’s absolutely terrible.
