The Full Trailer For Disney’s ‘Moana’ Has Been Released, And It Looks Beautiful! (VIDEO)

Dwayne Johnson made an appearance on Good Morning America on Thursday to premiere the absolutely stunning trailer for Moana. Before showing the trailer, Johnson talked about how much he loves the movie, and he’s not just saying that because he’s in it.

“I think it’s a really special movie. I saw it. I really loved it. A lot of times when you see a movie, you try not to get drunk on your own wine, but the movie’s really good.”

And you know, after watching the trailer, we believe he’s telling the truth. This movie does look really good. In the film, Johnson voices Maui, the legendary demi-god that we’ve heard so much about. Auli’i Cravalho is the voice behind the latest Disney princess Moana.

Get ready for more photos and videos coming soon. Johnson has promised his followers he’ll post new photos and clips from the movie every Monday until its Thanksgiving weekend release.

“From now until our Thanksgiving weekend release, myself, the cast and Disney will be serving up amazingly cool looks at the film, taking you deeper into how it was made, and what you can expect from our story and characters.”

You can check out the synopsis and full trailer below…

“Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast South Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped — and no one today knows why.

[Moana is the] spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfill her ancestors’ unfinished quest. During her journey, she meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds.”

Dwayne Johnson Tops World’s Highest-Paid Actor List, Check Out The Insane Amount Of Money He Earned This Year!

Earlier this week, Forbes released the 2016 list for the world’s highest paid actresses. Jennifer Lawrence grabbed the number one spot with a cool $46 million. A truly impressive total. Melissa McCarthy came in second with $33 million.

Yesterday, the site released the 2016 list for the highest paid actors in the world, and it’s no surprise that actors are bringing in significantly more than their female co-stars…because penis. You can click here to read an excellent article about the gender pay gap.

Robert Downey Jr. topped the list in 2015, but he was crushed by Dwayne Johnson this year. The 44-year-old actor beat everyone this year with an insane $64.5 million total. He more than doubled his earnings from last year, and that’s all thanks to his busy schedule. He earned millions for his work in the Fast & Furious franchise, Central Intelligence, and the upcoming Baywatch film.

Almost every movie he stars in has great success at the box office, which means he can demand higher upfront fees, and that’s exactly what he did this past year.

Surprisingly, Jackie Chan is right behind The Rock on the list. He made $61 million this year, thanks to his success at the Chinese box office. Matt Damon had himself a big year, bringing home $55 million, and Tom Cruise is right behind him with $53 million.

You can check out the top 10 highest paid actors below, and you can click on this link to see the full list over on Forbes.

1. Dwayne Johnson — $64,500,00
2. Jackie Chan — $61,000,000
3. Matt Damon — $55,000,000
4. Tom Cruise — $53,000,000
5. Johnny Depp — $48,000,000
6. Ben Affleck — $43,000,000
7. Vin Diesel — $35,000,000

Vin Diesel And The Rock Reportedly Have Secret Meeting To Put A Fork In Their On Set Beef

This has been a wild week for the cast of Fast 8. They’re just one week away from completing filming, but that’s one week too long for Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. As you have probably heard by now, The Rock went on his social media accounts to rant about a few of his male co-stars.

He praised the hard working crew and his female co-stars, but then dropped this delicious nugget of smack talk, “My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s–t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses.”

This made the internet wonder who he was talking about in his rant. Both Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris were cleared early on, which had most of the fingers pointing in Vin Diesel’s direction.

According to multiple sources, The Rock’s rant was a direct message to Diesel. They have been getting in little arguments throughout the entire production. Diesel is a producer on the film, and he has allegedly been making some important decisions without asking how the rest of the cast feels about them first.

The two movie stars had a ~secret~ meeting yesterday to end the beef. Not because they wanted to build a new friendship, but because the tension between them was reportedly making it almost impossible to shoot certain scenes.

The good news is that filming will be over in less than two weeks. The bad news is almost everyone on set is pissed at The Rock for starting so much drama this late in the game.

We can’t wait ’til they are forced to do promotional interviews with each other. Should be fun.

Wait, What? A Former Member Of The ‘Jonas Brothers’ Is In Talks To Join Jumanji Remake

jum

We know Dwayne Johnson (and most likely Kevin Hart and Jack Black) will star in the upcoming remake of Jumanji. None of those names really surprise you. If you were creating your own Jumanji remake in your head, you’d probably have at least one of those actors in the film.

But would the name Nick Jonas even cross you mind? Probably not. According to multiple reports, the 23-year-old singer/actor is in talks to join the Jumanji cast. We know Nick can act from his surprising role in the MMA drama Kingdom, so we’re certainly not trying to suggest he’s not a good actor. It’s just a little hard to see where he might fit in with a cast that already includes Hart, Black and Johnson.

Obviously details are limited at the moment. The report doesn’t offer any hints at how big his role might be, and we must remember the deal hasn’t been locked down yet. The main thing holding it up right now is Nick’s busy schedule. If Nick is serious about building his acting career, then this opportunity doesn’t sound like something he can afford to skip.

Even if this remake is dog poop compared to the original film, it’s still going to be successful at the box office. As we are continuously being reminded, Hollywood is not making these remakes for the original fans. It’s all about building a new franchise for a younger audience.

The film is scheduled to hit theaters July 28, 2017. More details will be coming soon. We’ll keep you posted.

Dwayne Johnson Stars In The First Trailer For Disney’s ‘Moana’ (VIDEO)

moaa

What? Another movie starring Dwayne Johnson? YOU’RE KIDDING! At this point, it’s safe to assume Johnson has a role in every new movie released. The 44-year-old actor is probably the hottest actor in Hollywood, and it looks like he has found something special with Disney’s Moana.

The first trailer for the animated film featuring Disney’s first Polynesian princess has been released, and we can already tell it’s going to be a huge hit. This first trailer is primarily focused on demi-god Maui (voiced by Johnson) as he introduces himself and his adventures.

And while some people are a bit disappointed that this first trailer doesn’t feature more of newcomer Auli’i Cravalho’s voice, there is no reason to worry. There will be more trailers released before the film hits theaters November 23, 2016. We’re sure the next trailer will focus more on Disney’s latest princess.

Those tattoos you see all over Maui’s body? They are pretty important, as you’ll see in the trailer below. An interesting little note about them is that they were hand-drawn by the same Disney artist who drew the Genie from Aladdin.

Check out the official synopsis and the stunning trailer below…

“From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes ‘Moana,’ a sweeping, CG-animated adventure about a spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfill her ancestors’ unfinished quest. During her journey, she meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds.”

Dwayne Johnson Promises The New ‘Jumanji’ Reboot Will Honor Robin Williams

dwa

Last month we told you about the Jumanji reboot rumors. A report from Variety claimed that Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart were in talks to star in the film. It was news that surprised everyone, and even made some people angry because they feel like there is no Jumanji without Robin Williams.

Well, Dwayne Johnson took to his Instagram account to confirm the rumors and calm people down by telling them the reboot will honor the late comedian. And reboot is the key word there. This will not be a sequel.

Johnson called the upcoming film a “new re-imagining of this amazing story,” and explained it will take more from the original children’s book than the 1995 film.

“The love and respect I have for this man is boundless. You have my word, we will honor his name and the character of ‘Alan Parrish’ will stand alone and be forever immortalized in the world of JUMANJI in an earnest and cool way. I have an idea of what to do and I think his family will be proud.”

As of right now, The Rock is the only official cast member, but more casting news should be released later this week, and sources say Hart is still scheduled to be one of the main characters. Johnson revealed this reboot will have five main roles as opposed to the three main roles in the original film.

We’ll keep you posted. The film is set to hit theaters July 28, 2017.

Dwayne Johnson Shares ‘Baywatch’ Movie Photos, And The Cast Is Looking REALLY Good! (PHOTOS)

bayy

Dwayne Johnson loves to make his fans feel like family on social media. When he’s filming a movie, you know about it because he’s always sharing special photos from the set.

And he has continued the tradition while he works on the Baywatch movie adaptation, which is scheduled to be released May 19, 2017. He shared several photos from the set on his Facebook page, and the one that is getting the most attention is the one you see above.

From left to right, the new Baywatch film stars Kelly Rohrbach, Alexandra Daddario, Ilfenesh Hadera, The Rock, Zac Efron and Jon Bass.

And as you can see, it has a little something for everyone. Three beautiful women, a hulk-like creature, a male model and even a dad bod.

bay

So what can we expect from this movie? A lot of laughs. It’s clear they aren’t going the dramatic route. It’ll be your typical R-rated comedy with some action tossed in to keep you entertained.

And as Johnson describes, you’ll have beautiful women who can kick butt and Efron’s 17-pack.

“Rated R comedy, hard core action, beautiful ass kicking women, the unforgiving and majestic ocean, Zac Efron’s 17 pack abs, and most important our #1 secret weapon… Jon Bass. Underneath this layer of oiled up sex god is an extremely talented dude, 100% comfortable in his own skin and truthfully, Jon Bass just may wind up being my absolute favorite part of our movie.”

Sounds like a good time. I’ll definitely be checking this one out next year.

Dwayne Johnson And Kevin Hart Might Star Together In ‘Jumanji’ Remake!

kevv

This is interesting. According to a new report from Variety, two of the biggest stars in Hollywood are looking to team up again for a remake of the Robin Williams classic, Jumanji.

Both Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson are extremely interested in this project, and it looks like the only thing standing in their way is their busy schedules. As mentioned above, they are two of the hottest starts right now, which means they are trying to juggle several projects.

But thanks to Johnson’s Rampage film being pushed back to 2017, the actor has an opening this fall before he starts filming the third season of his show on HBO. Hart will start work on The Intouchables remake late this summer, and Variety reports “working out this part of the schedule could prove difficult.”

In addition to working out the schedule, some sources believe Sony wants to wait to see how Johnson and Hart’s upcoming comedy Central Intelligence performs at the box office. If it’s a flop, then it might make the studio’s decision more difficult. It’s hard to see the film not bringing in a lot of money though. People loved Hart and Johnson during the MTV Movie Awards, you can bet they’re going to love them in June when the film is released.

Well keep you posted, but right now things are looking good. The Jumanji remake will hit theaters July 28, 2017. Hopefully Hart and Johnson will be in it.

Watch Out Mother Nature, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Will Return For ‘San Andreas’ Sequel!

dwaa

It was a box office hit that no one really saw coming, but Dwayne Johnson’s earthquake disaster film San Andreas made almost $500 million worldwide last year. The film received just mixed reviews from critics, but it’s obvious fans around the world enjoyed the movie.

And this means we’re going to get a sequel. According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, New Line Cinema and Johnson are working hard to make this sequel happen. They have hired Gavin James and Neil Widener to write the script.

Brad Peyton, the director behind the first movie, is also scheduled to return for the sequel. The report also claims most of the original co-stars will return, including, Alexandra Daddario, Paul Giamatti and Carla Gugino.

Obviously, plot details are being locked away right now; however, the report does hint at a much larger natural disaster event focusing on the legendary Ring of Fire…

“The ring circles the Pacific Ocean with fault lines and volcanoes and, according to scientists, is home to about 90 percent of the world’s earthquakes.”

Don’t expect this sequel to hit a theater near you anytime soon though. Dwayne Johnson is a busy man. It might be a year or two before he has time to film this.

While we wait, you can watch the trailer for the original film below…
