Watch Danny Glover In First Trailer For Indie Drama ‘The Drummer’

Everyone loves Danny Glover, right? If you don’t love him, please keep that to yourself. I don’t want to know the hate inside your heart.

The 75-year-old actor stars in the upcoming indie drama film, The Drummer. The movie follows active and former members of the U.S. military and their war-related traumas.

The film stars Danny Glover as a Vietnam veteran who has become a lawyer and political advocate for soldiers who’ve suffered mental health issues.

This film is personal for Glover because his brother is a Vietnam vet. He released the following statement:

My brother was a Vietnam vet, given to the recent announcement that there are more veterans suicide than soldiers killed in Iraq makes the film The Drummer more timely than ever.

In addition to Glover, the cast includes Prema Cruz, Sam Underwood, Frankie J. Alvarez, and Daniel K. Issac.

The movie is set to premiere digitally on Veterans’ Day and it should be a pretty meaningful story.

‘Jumanji: The Next Level’ Releases First Trailer, And The Crew Is Back Together

We ended last week by showing you a trailer featuring Dwayne Johnson, and we begin this week by showing you another trailer featuring Johnson.

The first trailer for ‘Jumanji: The Next Level‘ has been released, a direct sequel to the 2017 hit film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Jack Black have all returned for this sequel, which features Hart and Johnson trying to put on their best impressions of Danny DeVito and Danny Glover.

In the upcoming adventure the gang returns to Jumanji only to find the video game world looks a little different. The twist this time around is that the grandfathers (played by Danny DeVito and Danny Glover) of two original players get transported into the game as Johnson and Hart’s avatars. The new players will have to brave the elements to escape the dangers that lurk and save Jumanji.

The whole body swapping gag was funny the first time, but will it deliver for a second time? I don’t know. This trailer got a chuckle out of me, but I’m not sure it can sustain itself for the entire film.

Jumanji: The Next Level will hit theaters December 13, 2019. Check out the trailer below…
