Extras On The Set Of The Upcoming ‘Joker’ Movie Were Reportedly Locked In Train For Hours

We all know Joaquin Phoenix takes acting very seriously. He’d probably cut off his arm if the role required it.

But you can’t expect that same dedication from extras on the set. According to multiple reports, extras on the set of Phoenix’s upcoming ‘Joker‘ film are pissed.

Why? Because they nearly pissed their pants waiting to be released from set. Sources say extras were locked on a subway car for over 3 hours. They were supposed to get a break after two hours, but the production team forced them to stay in.

This was a problem because some of the extras needed to pee…

“The extras started banging on the subway doors asking to be let out because people needed to use the bathroom, but they were kept inside and eventually resorted to pissing on the tracks through the small spaces between cars.”

A complaint has been filed about the break time violation and a rep from SAG has been sent to hopefully resolve the situation.

And now that we’re talking about the movie, let’s give you some details about it. It’s reportedly set in the ’80s and Phoenix plays a failed stand-up comedian who turns to crime and ultimately becomes The Joker.

It’s scheduled to be released October 4, 2019.
