The folks behind ‘Breaking Bad‘ and ‘Better Call Saul‘ are being very sneaky with this Breaking Bad sequel.
We told you a few months ago that a Breaking Bad movie was being developed. At one point, there were reports that both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul had returned and were currently filming in New Mexico.
Those reports were never confirmed, but now we have confirmation that the movie was filmed earlier this year.
‘Better Call Saul’ star Bob Odenkirk confirmed the news. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he admitted he can’t wait to see it…
I’ve heard so many different things about it, but I am excited about the Breaking Bad movie. I can’t wait to see it…I don’t know what people know and don’t know. I find it hard to believe you don’t know it was shot. They did it. You know what I mean? How is that a secret? But it is. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping it a secret.
According to the most recent reports, this film will be a sequel following around Aaron Paul’s character after his escape from Nazi captivity in the series finale.
I don’t know how they were able to film this movie in New Mexico without anyone snapping a photo. That’s so bizarre. Makes you wonder if Cranston is going to make some surprise appearance as a ghost or some sh*t.
This movie is expected to hit Netflix/AMC in 2020.[mashshare]
