If you’ve watched ‘Stranger Things‘ on Netflix, then you know how well the cast seems to get along. After this latest season, they had “after-show episodes” of the cast discussing the season with the creators of the show, Matt and Ross Duffer. It looked like everyone truly enjoyed working together.
But it looks like things might not be as peachy as they seem. A former crew member of the show, Peyton Brown, revealed in a social media post that she would not be returning to work on season three of the series because of the inappropriate work behavior by the Duffer brothers.
“I personally witnessed two men in high positions of power on that set seek out and verbally abuse multiple women. I promised myself that if I were ever in a situation to say something that I would. I have 11.5 thousand followers who can hear me say this, TIME IS UP.”
A fan asked her if she was talking about Matt and Ross, and she confirmed that she was. She added that there was yelling on set and that the brothers made insults and even threats to crew members.
Brown deleted the post shortly after publishing it, but not before a screenshot was snapped by Entertainment Tonight…
The show is currently on hiatus, but production on the third season is expected to begin soon. Season three is expected to premiere on Netflix in 2019.
Reps for the Duffer brothers have not responded to the allegations.
