Wow. The internet did it. After the first trailer for the upcoming live-action ‘Sonic the Hedgehog‘ film was released, fans online started clowning on Sonic’s teeth, which looked oddly humanlike.

Sonic’s teeth went viral, and apparently the studio behind the film was listening, because now they’re pushing back the release date.

The film’s director, Jeff Fowler, announced on Twitter that the release date will be pushed back from November 8, 2019, to February 14, 2020.

Crazy stuff. I mean, the director, producers, studio were all okay with releasing the trailer. They obviously didn’t see anything wrong with how Sonic looked, but now that some fans complained online, they’re changing everything? How odd. Is this going to be the standard going forward?

Will fans be able to influence all movies? I don’t know, but I do know it’s a slippery a** slope.
