Netflix shared its year-in-review for 2017 on Monday evening, and there were some pretty interesting facts in this review. Facts like Canada, Mexico and Peru are the top bingeing streaming nations, American Vandal was the most streamed series, and Stranger Things was the most watched by families.
But the most interesting fact? Someone watched the original Pirates of the Caribbean film 365 days in a row. We are not sure where this person lives, how old they are, or if they’re being held captive.
We’re trying to figure out why someone would watch the film 365 days in a row, and we can only think of a few possibilities.
The first one? It’s being streamed at some electronics store, and they play it at least once every day on a TV inside the store.
The second scenario includes spies, hostages, and creative torture, so we’re not going to spend too much time entertaining that conspiracy theory…BUT WHAT IF?
And the third, and possibly scariest possibility? Someone out there in the world truly loves the film enough to watch it every single day. If that doesn’t fill your heart with sadness, I don’t know what will.
