Wolverine-Yellow_and_Blue-iOSOur friends over at Movieweb got their hands on an official Wolverine movie costume.

Before the actual Wolverine movies, this was how a lot of us were used to seeing our hero.  This yellow and blue costume was how Wolverine first appeared in the 1975 X-men #1 comic.  Then he switched to the red, yellow and brown outfit in 1980 which is how I personally was introduced to the character.

In X-Men: Days of Future Past, Hugh Jackman says that this will be like 3 movies in one.  I suspect partly because it will go back to the 70’s and then to the 80’s. which leaves plenty of opportunity for the suit to make an appearance.

This is the costume that I modeled for The Wolverine. It was unused in the final cut of the film. Everything in the box is digitally modeled and 3d printed. There is no cloth or leather used in these parts, but rather texturing added in ZBrush. (Photo shown with permission)”

I just hope it comes in XXL.  If it doesn’t make appearance in the X-Men: Days of Future Past I would love just to see Hugh Jackman try it on.

Here is a clip of Hugh telling us what we can expect from : Days of Future Past.
