It’s been a while since we have seen or heard from Louis C.K., the 50-year-old comedian has been keeping a low profile ever since it was revealed he jerked off in front of women. It’s still too early to tell if he’ll be able to make a comeback, or if he even wants to.

But for right now, the scandal is still negatively impacting his career in Hollywood.

It was announced this week that Patton Oswalt will be replacing Louis in the upcoming sequel Secret Life of Pets 2. For those who don’t know, Louis voiced protagonist Max in the 2016 film, which was a hit with both critics and the general audience.

Replacing Louis with Patton makes a lot of sense, and we’re sure Patton will perform extremely well. We doubt anyone is going to be like, “Wait, that doggy sounds different now!”

By the way, the studio also announced that they managed to convince Harrison Ford to join the cast. This will be his first animated voice role ever in a film, so that should be exciting. Tiffany Haddish and Pete Holmes will also be joining the cast.

This sequel is expected to hit theaters June 7, 2019.
