For the past two years, Spider-Man has been enjoying his time in the spotlight. Last year, the incredibly successful ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming‘ was released inside theaters. It scored a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and made over $850 million worldwide.
And then last month, the new ‘Spider-Man’ game dropped on the PS4 and the internet went crazy. It’s one of the best reviewed games of the year. It sold 3.3 million copies in its first three days of release.
Now all you Spidey fans can look forward to the upcoming animated feature, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.
This movie looks stunning. I’m not a huge fan of animated flicks and I don’t vibe with Superhero movies, but for some reason…I’m diggin’ this trailer.
“We learned it would feature a seasoned Peter Parker (voiced by Jake Johnson) crossing over into the universe of Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) to mentor the younger Spidey. Gwen Stacy’s Ghost Spider (formerly Spider-Gwen) also made a brief appearance.
Now that the second full-length trailer for the film has landed, we know that’s only the beginning. When they said ‘Spider-Verse,’ they meant at least six Spider-heroes.”
This movie will hit theaters December 14, 2018, ending a very special year for the Spider-Man universe.
