Reports Claim Paul Schrader’s Next Film Will Be A Western Starring Ethan Hawke And Willem Dafoe

Paul Schrader and Ethan Hawke just teamed up together to create the beautifully unnerving film First Reformed. If you haven’t watched it yet, I suggest you do. But don’t watch it alone, ’cause you might be a little depressed after.

First Reformed was one of my favorite movies of 2018, so when I saw a report claiming Schrader and Hawke would be teaming up again, well…I HAD TO WRITE ABOUT IT!

According to Erick Weber from Awards Ace, Schrader revealed at the Critics Choice Awards that his next film would be a western titled Nine Men From Now. He also said Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe would play the two leads.

Hopefully this Weber guy is known for his accurate reporting, ’cause I’m already getting my hopes up. No word on a release date. Heck, this hasn’t even been confirmed, but still…it’s something to watch out for.

We will keep you posted.
