Zachary Levi played the good guy on NBC’s ‘Chuck‘ for five wonderful seasons. He also voiced Flynn Rider in the surprise Disney hit Tangled. He’s known as a pretty lovable guy…in both his career and personal life.

But sometimes it pays to be bad. It was just announced that Levi has been cast as the villain in Psych: The Movie. It’s a huge score for fans of the show, considering they were already requesting Levi join the show during its original run on the USA Network.

The 36-year-old actor is set to play the Thin White Duke, and his character is being described as a, “ruthless, mysterious, and dashing villain of the highest order.”

And as you can see in the little teaser clip below, Levi has embraced a new look for this role…

Entertainment Weekly offered this brief synopsis of the upcoming two-hour movie…

“Fake psychic detective Shawn Spencer (James Roday) and his best friend Burton “Gus” Guster (Dulé Hill) reunite with their friends over the holiday season after The Thin White Duke targets one of their own”.

It will pick up three years after the series finale and will feature original cast members Maggie Lawson, Corbin Bernsen, and Kristen Nelson. The film is currently in production. It’s scheduled to premiere December 2017.
