The Park Is Open: New ‘Jurassic World’ Poster Hits The Internet!

The park will open June 12, 2015, and we all have been invited to the opening. A new Jurassic World poster was released this week and it has fans of the franchise itching for the first trailer.

Director Colin Trevorrow tweeted out the poster you see down below. Trevorrow is doing a remarkable job of getting people excited for the upcoming dinosaur adventure. He already confirmed that the film will be set 22 years after the terrifying events in the first movie. He also revealed that the island of Isla Nublar will be a “fully functional park” featuring real dinosaurs in the beginning.

Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) will take the lead in Jurassic World. He will be playing a scientist who is conducting research on Velociraptors and trying his best to figure out “the limits of the relationship between these highly intelligent creatures and human beings.”

The film also stars Ty Simpkins, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Vincent D’Onofrio and Nick Robinson. It will open in theaters on June 12, 2015, and will feature an IMAX 3D experience. IMAX 3D is the correct way to watch a movie about dinosaurs, and we will be disappointed in you if you don’t pay the extra $4 to fully immerse yourself in Jurassic World.
